It’s family fun day and we went on a hunt for some pizza and wings. We wanted to get a little farther from home for something we don’t typically have or something new and came across this location. We’ve had Rosati’s quite a few times at other locations over the last decade, but today’s was the best by far. Brenna our server was part of that the moment we walked in. She was all smiles, came right to our table to greet us and answered any and all questions we had in between taking our drink orders. I’ve been eating on the healthier side lately (sad I know lol) and while I did order a side salad I indulged in a few slices of the classic combo we ordered. My son chose the build your own pasta with penne, meat sauce with Italian sausage and it was phenomenal (I ate some of that too ha ha). Are you even living your best life if you don’t try all the yummy things? We also ordered some hot wings and with a yelp check in with dine in purchase we received free dough nuggets as well. Score yet again! Everything came out quickly. Our salad and wings first. Dough bites soon followed. The pizza was cooked perfectly and the edges lightly crisped but not burnt. So many veggies and yummy sausage. The wings were good size, sauced well and good little kick. The dough nuggets were seasoned well and a huge portion. My son loves dipped them on his pasta sauce. He ate every single piece lol. I’d say that means the dough nuggets were a hit. He made a huge dent in the pasta, but had to take some home because the portion was huge. He’s a teenage boy you eats so much so that says a lot. The vibe was sports bar type with high tops, booths and of course bar seating. Tons of tv’s for all the sports and noice level was actually not too bad. Everything was great and we’re already planning another visit.
My coworkers from Austria go crazy with this place 🤪 apparently, finding deep-dish pizza in Austria is hard (if not impossible). Rosati’s is definitely one of the go-to spots; their pizzas are amazing, and their customer service is even better; we love this place!
stopped by for a late lunch. had the wings and fried mushrooms. wings were cooked fantastic! mushrooms were good. cocktail (whisky sour) was very tasty.
We always loved the pizza, but it was below par tonight. We ordered a 12" cheese with green olives...very dry and barely warm. Also ordered a 14" Fabulous Four. There were very few mushrooms and minimal onions. The price for those 2 pizzas and one glass of tea was outrageous! We waited an hour for our food. Our waitress was great and very apologetic. It will be a very long time IF we come back!!
I gave it 3 stars because it was a hot box inside. When you come in from 113 degrees you want to be at least cooled off. Fix your AC. I tried to special order some wings. I asked for Mango Habenro and BBQ mixed on the wings.For some reason they weren't allowed to do it. But, they gave me both sauces to mix myself. Funny things is, I was just in Lake Havasu at the Rosati's there and they had no issue doing what I requested. They did the same when Rosati's was on Bell rd. The pizza was cooked the way we ordered it so they get great marks for that.
Horrible Service. Ordered online, arrived at Rosati's Avondale, and nothing was even started from my order. Acted shocked about the fact that we ordered online. Didn't believe us even after showing online receipt in my email. Said they would make it anyway. Came out two more times asking for the name for the order. & Then said they would make it yet again and it would be 45 minutes. It was a pizza and two fries. Would have appreciated a refund, so I could just walk away from this mess of a restaurant that cannot fulfill a simple order, but conveniently for them they do not offer refunds. No refund policy, even if you get nothing at all. Horrible business, all the way to the end. Will need to contact Credit Card company now. All over a pizza. Hours wasted, and phone calls still to be made. Will never be back.
Enjoyed lunch here ... Nice little lunch specials. I had the half meatball sub and fries ..we also tried the pizza. Both were great. The service was good too. Really enjoyed it, and plan to go back.
Pictures worth a thousand words. This is a Pizza?. Yes called manager and even took it back to show them. Got a refund but, still???. Will try 1 more time with Rosati's,but this time 1 star. I recently returned to Rosati's for another try and the pizza was made like it should. Great taste and appearance. Thank you Dennis!. I give you 5 stars for honoring your feedback, making it right and a pizza like it should. Hard to find a great tasting Chicago made pizza in the area, again thank you.
