The atmosphere in this place in lovely! However, it is a very busy, popular place that does not take reservations (to my knowledge). The place is a little nosey due to the popularity but it isn't overbearing. Food was delicious, a little expensive but well-worth it for a night out if you enjoy the cuisine. The staff was very polite and courteous.

You want to come here! I had such a wonderful time here. The hostess was so nice and well dressed. Our server was very attentive and gave great suggestions. The atmosphere was my favorite part (aside from the food). On to the food, they have a great variety of options for a lot of dietary restrictions and preferences. The portions as great. You are getting just enough to be able to try a little bit of everything and not be super full. They have spectacular mocktails! If you’re in the mood for good sushi and good vibes, come here.

Very solid place for sushi. Regular rolls are fairly priced for the amount you get, and you can tell they are freshly made. Service was very fast and discreet, our server was very good about not interrupting conversations while checking up on us frequently. Everything tasted amazing and came out relatively fast. Highly recommend the crawfish roll and the crispy rice spicy tuna roll. 10/10

Stumbled upon Ronin while getting acquainted with the greater Detroit area. I was pleasantly surprised by the unassuming exterior with a chic and modern vibe inside. As I was only one for dining while on business travel, I cozied up to the bar. Ordered the spider till and feature roll (Cajun themed). Both were well prepared and tasty. Service at the bar was great.

It’s a Hot Spot but… Hmm so a lot of things to say about this place. Let’s start off with the good. It is aesthetically pleasing, offering indoor seating, a swanky upstairs lounge with 70s vibes, and outdoor seating. It has some very creative menu items and lots of variety and options for sides, and quite a few options for vegan and vegetarians. As for the not so good.. this place was PACKED and super noisy. Very grateful to the understanding hostess who made sure we were able to snag a spot in the upstairs lounge area. The menu had many options for a fancy drink, but I didn’t spy any for just a non alcoholic variety. The prices were high for a smaller portion size.. $6 for a handful of cashew stir fry.. I would recommend the Mountain Dew roll most as it is unique and absolutely delicious! Stick with sushi and you should be good here.

Absolutely fabulous sushi place that I've walked by hundreds of time since we moved to the area 7 years ago. I'm kicking myself for not trying it sooner. Food was top notch, service was excellent, and the place looks terrific. We'll be back many times for sure.

I went to this place for the first time and I was not very impressed.. The sushi was just average. I’d say I had better sushi experience in other places. The shrimp appetizer was good and 2 of the sushi rolls were good too. I don’t recommend the baked sushi roll as it didn’t taste very good. We could not finish it! The mochi ice cream however was amazing. We did enjoy it a lot. It was fresh and tasted just like the flavors. Would I come back? Maybe. Other people might enjoy this place because the interior is beautiful.

Very chill atmosphere with great decor and architecture. The sushi was great, and the crab soup was amazing. The chicken wings lacked flavor but had a flavorful sauce to dip it in. I do not live in Michigan, but if I was to visit again, I would definitely go here again!
