Food was average. nothing special. My husband called these foods Tex-Mex. This place was clean, spacious, and especially the wood carvings on the chairs were beautiful. The main server was fast and the other staff were also really hardworking.

This is the place to be after a long day on the job! Great atmosphere, delicious food, and a staff that hands down has the best Mexican food I have ever had. Definitely recommend this restaurant for a night on the town with a significant other, family gatherings, or guys/gail night. Thanks Rodeo for a night to remember! Definitely looking forward to seeing you all again soon.

Had the birria tacos. The stewed beef melted in your mouth, with the green sauce it makes them amazing. Add a dash of the lime and it is off the feast. The wait on a weekend was very reasonable 10 minutes. The service was fast and the food hot.

Food was wonderful and service was astounding. We had our 12 month old with us, he was in the highchair at the end of the table, we noticed the servers actively moving the hot plates to their other hand opposite of him when they walked past. Our waiter was super nice and placed plates and drinks out of his reach. My food came out wrong and he noticed it before he even set it on the table and had it fixed in no time! If I could give ten stars I would!

First time stopping in. Food and drinks were really good and reasonably price as well. Complimentary chips and salsa with your meal and great daily specials. Staff was very attentive. Restaurant was really clean too. Would definitely recommend bringing the family here.

I wanted to give Rodeo a great review, truly. The restaurant has been in the community for a few years now and I used to patron it quite frequently. However, my last two consecutive visits were enough to drive the nail in the coffin for any future visits to Rodeo Mexican Restaurant. During the first visit, my companion and I ordered our usual orders and the food was surprisingly bland and flavorless. I will honestly say that was unusual as the food was normally delicious. My companion was unable to finish his meal, shaking his head in disappointment. I tried to help my own food with the tableside seasonings but soon gave up. We said then that we didn't want to eat there again. However, a short time later, we decided to give Rodeo one more try, because sometimes, there are simply days where things are off. Unfortunately, that visit was no better. We were seated and ordered our usual meals again. The food was brought out to us and we began to enjoy our dinner. We did not have the same issue as last time and the meal was quite tasty...that is, until I cut off a portion of my burrito and a long, dark hair came spiraling out with the ground beef. I calmly told my companion that I'd found a hair in my food. He looked at me and the hair dangling from my fork, said he was done and that we should go. I agreed wholeheartedly. Upon leaving and checking out, I alerted the hostess to the problem with my food and there was no issue made to recify the situation and no discount was offered. We paid the full price for the food and left. I once loved this restaurant but I'm afraid it's left a bad taste in my mouth.

Had lunch on a Saturday. We ordered our drinks, appetizer, and meal all together. Our waitress brought our meal out first. Our drinks out second and then the appetizer third. The salsa tastes like water with tomatoes and hot sauce. The verde enchiladas were dry and watery. Chille relleno was excellent. Great location and plenty of parking. Our waitress seemed new and inexperienced.

We went on a Sunday evening. The AC Tex was described as being smothered in queso - it was delivered dry with queso in a souffle cup on the side. The waitress forgot us. We split checked ($15 checks per person) and left $4 total between the two of us but never once did she see if the food was good, or if we needed refills. There was a screaming toddler somewhere within the restaurant - which I know is part of public life, but parents....take your kids out to calm them down.
