I'm walking distance from this bar so I like going there to check out their many offerings. A personal favorite of mine is the open mic comedy that features local comics. Not only are they super talented but they are so appreciative when non comics come out to support! I also love karaoke and they used to have a version that was hosted by a weird al look alike but now on fridays they have karaoke with Tre who's a great host and actually participated and has a great voice! I dinged a star because my friend from new york came in and they wouldn't serve him. Otherwise I love this place!
Great environment, friendly staff. We had a reps for my grandmother and Almaty people attended and the restaurant was very accommodating. We had the option of ordering chicken, fish or steak. I ordered the chicken which was excellent, it was op with cheese broccoli and gravy. I will def go back again. Drinks were very good prices.
This place is excellent!!! My friends and I hosted my sister's bridal shower at Rivara's this past weekend in the skylight room. The service was Awesome!!! Frank and his staff was great to work with. They were all very accommodating and attentive during the event. The food was delicious and the price was right ;-) If you're you're shopping around for a venue in this area, you cannot go wrong with Rivara's.
I have been driving past here on my way home forever. Finally me and the wife stopped in. At first I was a little skeptical by the decor. We sat at the table and the staff is awesome. We ordered prime rib. We didn't wait very long. The food was great. We were so happy and very surprised by the quality of our food. Don't let the looks of this place fool you. It is great and I will definitely return.
Good food, with a restaurant side and a bar side depending on your mood. The dinners have been great, but the menu was changed when I went there last. I opted for a bunch of appetizers and they were decent. I preferred the old menu better... The nachos used to be amazing, even delivered which isn't an easy task. I wonder if the menu is just different because I went to the bar side... Will have to see when I go again.
Wrote this one year ago, and it got better! We always walk away from Rivara's with a good feeling. The food is delicious, and the prices are very reasonable. For what you get, it is the best deal around. The lunches and specials are portioned just right and are reasonably priced. Great place for a business lunch. Same food and drink elsewhere would cost about twice as much. Drinks and Food here are done right. The restaurant is to the left when you walk in, the warm and friendly sports bar is to the right, and the upstairs catering is nice space for a private party. All serve the same great food. So, if you would like some old school "the customer is always right" and "we want you to be happy" type of service and delicious food then come to Rivara's.
The food is always delicious and plentiful. I celebrated my birthday last night and we were all pleased with our meal. The ambience depends upon what side of the restaurants are seated, pub side or main dining room. I’ve eaten on both sides, but it won’t matter once you get your food.👍😊
The food is phenomenal here. Everything I've ever had from rivaras has been top notch, fresh and delicious. The service is great too. The bartenders are friendly and efficient. The drinks are strong and everything is fairly priced. They have lots of themed nights and great deals for holidays. All-round great local pub.
