I don't believe this place gets the credit it deserves. Not to be confused with "tex-mex", which certainly is good in its own right, the more authentic dishes reside here. Great service, portions are more than adequate, and a taste that will make you lick your plate clean!

Authentic Mexican food (Jalisco!). Best place for actual Mexican food in Blue Springs, bar none. Great service, outstanding prices, and reasonably priced drinks too.

Portions are too small. Guacamole is not fresh. Grilled onions were a joke. I know is difficult to find a mexican restaurant, but I think they could have been done much better.

Real Jalisco has been an almost weekly stop for 8+ years. Joel & Sergio are the owners and 1 or both are always at the restaurant. The food is delicious. If you want suggestions, they will provide them. If you want a dish tweaked to your liking, they are more than happy to accommodate. We have many favorites. They added TexMex to their more authentic dishes to please those less adventurous diners. The Jalisco style dishes are what their mom made their family in Mexico. On the drink front; try the Tequila Martini! Stop in and join the family. We did and you can almost always find us there on Friday night!

Fun place! Good food and great service! It was our first time eating here today, and we'll be back.

For the prices they charged (average $13 to $15) I expected A LOT better quality! The pic is my son's shrimp chimichanga with the tiniest scoop of rice ever accompanied by soupy refried beans. I got their days special with roasted jalepeno peppers. Never saw one jalepeno! It was full of onions and very chunky mushrooms. I think it was beef? Yes, I'm questioning my statement. No matter. Couldn't find much meat in it. My son got a meal with shrimp. He was pleased with the shrimp but those darn mushrooms and onions! And it was all soupy with, again the teensy scoop of rice and soupy beans! Over all not happy with the food. Our server was polite and made sure glasses stayed filled and we had tortilla chips. The salsa was very water as well but I did love the taste of the cilantro in it. Although I did find half a tomato in my salsa. It was all connected. Really wish I had taken pics of my meal. Tried it and not going back.

There are a lot of Mexican restaurants in the area, but this is my favorite! Food was awesome and the tortillas were made from scratch! The tacos Jalisco are awesome!

Great food, clean place, fast service, pay bill with credit card at the table and you can leave a tip easily with the credit card machine.
