Wonderful experience at Ray’s Grill. Everything was great, we had such a great time. We went there on a Sunday for lunch and the place was empty. Service was good as well and super quick. We got a poke bowl, fries, wings, sandwich and a butter squash salad. The nachos were awesome loaded with cheese and guacamole. Better than in some Mexican restaurant.

The food is good and big portion , the prices is good , the interior setting is nice as the exterior setting , the atmosphere is good as well , I recommend this place if you visit Stanfard university.

Decent food with enormous variety on the menu. Had the poke bowl and portion size was good for the price. The space and atmosphere are not the best nor welcoming, so would recommend grabbing to-go

Is it just me, or is the younger woman taking orders at the register incredibly rude? Never says thank you, even when tipping her, won't acknowledge you, and seems annoyed for having to take your order. It's seriously bad, attitude stinks! I want my tip back! 😀

Ordered a butternut squash arugula salad with quinoa which was quite delicious. Food came our quite quickly, plenty of seating, easy access to all the residential areas of Stanford and not too far from the central campus.

Came to get a bite to eat here the menu is big but the food is bland with no flavor. I asked for a Stella and they ran out and didnt bother to change the keg they just asked me to order something else. I will not be back. Sorry

Had the jalapeño burger, very mid even compared to Stanford dining hall food

I've been to Ray's a couple of times to hang out with a group of friends. The first time I was here, I ordered a burrito, and the second time I ordered carnitas tacos. Overall, I think I prefer the tacos, as they had a good balance of meat to wrap to sauce, but the burrito was just a touch on the oily side. I do still recommend the burritos; they're quite filling and half of one can be saved for a subsequent meal. I always like getting tea here, because they have really nicd chamomile tea which really hits the spot on cold nights. As a plus, it's close to a lot of graduate housing, has a lively atmosphere, and a diverse selection of cuisines to choose from (if that is a good or a bad thing, I cannot tell you). Also, the service is usually fairly quick and the staff are nice and efficient. A minus for this place is the pricing. I feel it could be more affordable, but I guess the restaurant has to match the cost of living in this area. Another thing is the lack of vegetarian options, particularly for tacos, which becomes annoying for vegetarian students on Taco Tuesday (it's a special they run with discounted tacos).
