We rode our bikes today for lunch, went to 3 different places that were closed and ended up here. I'm so glad we did too. I had the turkey Ruben sandwich and it was so delicious! Our waitress was super nice and funny. All around great experience!
Such a rad spot! Food is great and the homemade chips are dangerous. Beer is cold with a decent selection. Outside patio is great and you can tell itβs a local favorite. Bartender is super nice and checks back on you at the perfect time. It is my hope that this place never changes.
The SERVICE was Top Shelf! The place was clean and the ambience was welcoming! The food was above average. The "brats" could have been thicker, the shredded cheese on the nachos needed to be melted and the fries could use a little extra time in the fryer. Other than that, expected tasty bar style food! The next time we come visit, we will stick to the BURGERS! IT WAS THE REAL WINNER OF THE TABLE! Full flavor and nice portion! Definately will be back. We liked this place! ππ½ππ½
Perfectly cooked grilled chicken sandwich. I wish more taverns where I am from had great food.
Stopped in for the first time and it will not be the last. I tried their deep fried taco special--- messy but of so good---and he had the Special June Burger-he said cooked just the way he likes it, medium. Our waitress was great, friendly, refilled our glasses before we ran out, and just an all around gem. prices were reasonable
I'll start with the waitress forgetting my drink order. Then when we ordered food, I informed the waitress I have a mushroom allergy. So the cook would need to clean the grill and use clean tools, because they have a lot of mushroom items on the menu. So then the cook comes out with an attitude.. which I explained, it's not hard to clean a spot on the grill and use clean tools. Cross contamination could cause anaphylaxis, and I appreciated the trouble. It took an hour to get our food, and my food came out wrong. So I sent it back. When it came back out, my turkey burger was overcooked and very dry. My onion rings were burnt on the outside with raw onions on the inside. Overall it wasn't worth the money I paid. I won't be back.
Just a cool little corner bar that I have been going to for years. Glad to see it has survived and thrived in the disaster of the last few years. Cool Beer and decent bar food. What more could you ask for?
We tried this place on a whim. It was sad that they don't have any stouts on tap, but OMG the onion rings are to die for!!!! Burgers were tasty, but the onion rings were the definite star of the show.
