Thoroughly enjoyed my experience here. The service is great. The servings are plentiful, but also so delicious I'd devoured the Cuban Sampler AND the Chuletas before I knew it. The chops were seasoned and grilled to perfection. I also loved the sweet plantains.

This place was BUSTING to the brims with business, and for good reason! We went with a local who recommended it. We had great service and the food was fresh and delicious. We went on weekend/holiday weekend night that had live music playing. It was very "cramped" by tables being next to one another, but you don't mind.

I have been in this place few times mostly during lunch time which is my preference. But during dinner time they often have live music which compliments the atmosphere of the tropical vibe of a Havana Cafe in the late 80’s for those who can pictures this you’ll not get disappointed. Service is always good, the price is what should be expected from a restaurant in downtown.

So, so good! One of our favorite places to eat! Everything we've had from here has always been delicious!

Nice to have Cuban cuisine in Savannah, GA enjoy live music, portions are quite generous will come try other dishes too, be sure call make reservations gets crowded, still can stand near bar have drinks while waiting for table in case just walk in...their nice will offer water too.

Awesome atmosphere, great staff the menu is off the chart with so many delicious sounding choices from beef, chicken, fish , pork and vegetarian,and great salads, all this with a party at your favorite uncle's house, feel Almost forgot they also have a great Bar tender with a heavy pour. Can't wait to go back.

Place was almost totally full but they were able to sit us immediately and the service was very quick as well. Food was incredible too. All really well seasoned and delicious. Plus I think it was the owner even found time to check in with us. A bit off the beaten path for most places here but worth going to

I was in Savannah on a trip, and was looking for a Cuban Sandwich. After reading all the great reviews of Rancho Alegre Cuban Restaurant, I decided to give them a try. I started with a bowl of Sopa DE Pollo(Chicken Soup). Then an amazing Cuban Sandwich, with a side order of Black Beans. Everything tasted so fresh & delicious! My server was Pilar. She was very polite, professional & just a Sweetie. What a great dining experience! Highly recommend Rancho Alegre.....
