This is hands down one of my favorite places to eat at. They have some of the best wings, the sauce choices are awesome. I got the 10 wings and a loaded baked potato. I got 1/2 of the potato down before tapping out. Our waiter was awesome, very attentive. I want to say this was my 7th visit to this particular location, and its never let me down! Great job as always.
Fantastic variety of wings and other menu items. Seems to be a biker/Nascar fan hangout. A place where young whipersnappers go to eat the hottest wings (you sign a waiver for) and call it a rite of passage into manhood. There's also a TV on the floor out front which makes you feel awkward if you're a woman (or a man) with a dress on and you have to walk over it.
First time here. Spotted it from the highway and wasn't sure if it was even a restaurant at first. It's kind of like an Applebee's with a car theme. Probably great for families with young kids. I just stopped for a burger and fries. It was very good, nothing special. Next time I'll try something else on the menu? Service was good.
Paid $24 for 15 Small wings and they only gave me the little drums and no flats. Some of them were so small they just had burnt skin on them. Also got one itty bitty tiny cup of ranch. Would not recommend.
A friend recommended we try Quaker Steak on an August 2023 trip to Erie, PA. And it did not disappoint! Neither my husband nor I are car fans, so the decor didn't wow us. But, the food was delicious! (My husband got a cheeseburger, and I got the boneless wings and soft pretzels.) Our server was okay, slow and not terribly interested in us, but she did her job. Overall, it was a great experience!
Although the outside has seen much better days and is in near abandoned condition that's compounded by it being located deep in a mostly closed mall, the interior is surprisingly still well maintained and vibrant. The decor is fun and lively and consistent with what you would expect of this once popular and well touted restaurant. The hostess was pleasant and readily available as was the service. We ordered a variety of food for lunch and all of it came out in a timely manner, fresh and tasty. The portions were ample and will priced and I have to admit I enjoyed it. If you're an automotive enthusiast there's plenty to look at and if you're with family it will keep them entertained as there's also games for kids. Don't let the location or the exterior dissuade you from stopping by as I think that it's still quite a local gem worthy of your visit your dollar and your time. I recommend it.
I've had two incredibly different experiences here. The first time was wonderful: very friendly and helpful staff, some of the best chicken I've ever had, and all at a good price. The one thing is that the bathrooms are not kept very clean. The second time, the chicken was still great and the prices were no different, but the staff was... off. I'm not sure how to explain it, but they didn't seem fully present. Short answers, not really friendly but not hostile either, just really aloof. Halfway through eating, the vent above me started dripping water onto me, which, I mean, it's just water, it's no big deal, I just switched seats, but still. The bathrooms were still not very clean. Basically, this place is a hit or miss. I might go to other locations, the chicken recipe is phenomenal, but this location needs some work, both on the building and the staff themselves.
Food is always great and the atmosphere is even better. Anna was our waitress and did an amazing job. We love coming here and will continue to come back whenever we get up this way!
