Love this authentic pupusa little place!🤗 It was fresh & you can buy them individual to a 1/2 dozen to a dozen. With a variety 2 choose from, chicken, pork, asada, vegetarian, nopales & revueltas & more! The taco was alright & the tamale was just 🆗, but you must stop by & try the pupusas. 😍😋

A really delightful tiny little restaurant with excellent food. The space is small, so there is limited seating. The service was fast and helpful. Everything tastes amazing.

The food was very good, won’t deny that. But they overcharge for what they serve you. When my husband and I were going to pay, she took a while to add everything up and when my husband was going to pay, she said she forgot something else. Not the first time she has done that according to other family and friends who came. Wish they were more honest with the prices. It’s not helpful if they don’t provide prices on the menu. They can easily just charge you the amount they want. Food was amazing tho. The prices were was just too much.

Been going here for years back when they were in Lake Zurich, and I always will! I feel like I’m eating at my friends house where they serve up casual but fresh comfort food. I always get the chicken picante tamales, they melt in my mouth! I love the curtido and casamiento and always take home the platanos fritos. It’s great to have the Salvadoran flavors because Mexican restaurants are a dime a dozen.

I ordered pupusas, overall the pupusas, the cabbage topping, and red sauce were all good, well flavored but I gave it 3 stars because there was more cheese then meat in all of them, I ordered 3 different kinds and they all tasted the same because there was more cheese then meat and since the meat is finely shredded and drowning in cheese it's hard to tell the difference when all you taste is cheese, it was like eating quesadillas. 3 stars is reasonable considering the reason, but the guy was really nice, service was great. I think if they were to improved that small important part it would be a winner and hands down 5 stars. Lighten up on the cheese and add more of the fillings.

Salvadoran eats at an unexpected place. I ordered two foods that are staples in their culture, Pupusas and an order of Yuca with pork chicharon... food was ok. Not as tasty as I had expected but then again, taste is personal. I would eat there again but wouldn’t go out of my way for it... restaurant was clean, staff was friendly and decor was really nice!

I have been driving by this place for a while. Decide to stop. To my surprise the food was very delicious. Had a few Pupusa and a tamale(spicy chicken). Very tasty. Had chips and salsa as well. I think this is a hidden gem. The server is pretty young but service was ok. Its worth stopping to try and there was not a huge crowd. A hidden litte gem. Nothing fancy but very clean inside. Definitely worth seeing this place suceed.

My chimiganga was disgusting. There was 1/2 inch of oil in my take out containers, rice wasn't cooked, meat full of grisly bits, refried beans that were a sweet soup. This is my last time eating here. They won't give me my money back because I ordered Thur grub hub. I don't want a credit for a potential gross meal. Sad cooking practices to say the least. Yuk.
