This is bad, I ate here once before and it was pretty good. This time I order Uber eats, not knowing they were about to close. Sadly the food was cold, falafel was either dry like it was old, with some pieces burnt. So dissatisfied and disappointed.

I was starving and was looking for something to eat so found this spot. I ordered my meal online of the koshari with falafel and it came to $14.93. When I arrived I parked in the plaza lot and the place was kind of hidden but I found it. I walked in and the lady greeted me and asked my name and grabbed my food. I thanked her and left. When I dug in, the positives are there was plenty of food. As far as if I liked it, it was just ok. I wasn't a complete fan of the meal but it was ok. All in all I had an ok experience.

I had bad experiences with this restaurant, 1st experience I had oreder online and when I went to pick up my order I found part of my order picked up by another customer and I had to waited 20 min more . 2nd experience in Ramadan and I was fast I ordered mixed grill with add on of chicken shawarma and flafal and when I open my order at the breakfast time in home I discovered no add on at all and I so upset because I can’t do nothing . My advice anyone order anything you should open your order verify if all set .

Ordered the stuffed falafel sandwich and it was delicious and had a nice spicy kick to it. It also happens to be dairy free, which is important for my dining companion because of his allergy. The gentleman who served us as we were seated outside was very friendly and accommodating.

I have been ordering food from this restaurant over a year, and I never complained about anything before, but today, the service quality is low. The container was 1/2 empty. Well, they just lost a loyal customer

Good Mediterranean spot for take out. I've got family mixed grill and falafel. The portions are a lot for a family of 4, unless you are having some party.

I was searching for an Egyptian restaurant near me and I found PORTO FALAFEL. So I invited my son and my brother to try the Egyptian food for the very first time as a family, and we just loved it. The restaurant is small, you can tell the takeout food works very well for them; they also delivery. The music is lovely and the place looks very clean. Our appetizer of course, was the falafel, as well as the pita bread. Both delicious. We couldn’t get over the garlic sauce. Yummy! We told our server that it was the first time we were trying the food from his country, so he recommended the FAMILY MIX GRILL, consisting on vegetables, Shish Tawook, Shish Kebab, Kofta Kebab, Lamb Chops and Shawerma on the grill. The mix grill was well presented in a steamed gold coffer; very Mediterranean style. This plate was a very good portion for the 3 of us. We also ordered the The Zadaby Khalat with fruit and honey for our drinks; both amazing. And the dessert was spectacular. We ordered Baklava with pistachio and walnuts. Their water containers, their atmosphere, their music, their decorations and even the presentation of the bill (In a coffer) were very Mediterranean style. We really felt like we were in a little piece of the Middle East land. We enjoy very much our food at this place. It’s for sure we are coming back to try other dishes. We definitively recommend this restaurant to friends and family.

The most authentic Egyptian food in the NJ/ny area. I'm Egyptian and I was in heaven with the quality and depth of dishes they have. If you want authentic dishes pick the foul, musakah, mulkhiah and of course flafel.
