It’s a nice Spanish restaurant and the menu is mostly in Spanish to cater certain sect of tourists/population which doesn’t really help non Spanish speakers. Also mostly meat centric dishes very low veg options. Also not really very taste Spanish food like other places. Also the staff is not very friendly. Not a good experience

Stopped by for lunch and enjoyed an Aperol with a couple appetizers and pizzas. The appetizers were disappointingly small. Melon & prosciutto was a very small portion for the price. I also prefer cantaloupe over honeydew. The burrata was tragic but thankfully surrounded with tasty caramelized pistachios. The pizzas hit the spot: nothing extraordinary about them. Service was good.

Poggio Trattoria is one of my most favorite restaurants in Northern California. I recommend it to many of my family and friends and they all really like it. This time the four of us went there for lunch and had Tartare, Tagliatelle, Gnudi, Soppressata and for dessert we ordered Budino and Affagato. I normally don’t order pasta when I go out but I really love their Tagliatelle.

Excellent food and wine! I really enjoyed this meal

Such a find. Great, local vibe at the bar, posh ambiance while.still being fully relaxed. Came by myself and ended up staying for a few hours. Cheers to Eddie the bartender for making great drinks and keeping a great ambiance. I ordered the pea burrata. Fantastic.

Not impressed with the quality of food. In few words, food is under seasoned, improvised, and over prized. We ordered Agnolotti which was served in pool of unsalted pasta water where actual dish description in their menu says it’s served with lemon butter sauce. Vegetables in dish were not matching description either, had no flavor, and were under seasoned. We also had grilled quail with polenta which was overpriced, quail was overcooked and chewy, polenta had no flavor. Quail was topped with mound of extremely salted rough chopped olives which felt like an after thought garnish. Not worth $50 price tag!! Not so impressed with service either. No one came to check if we need anything after main course was served. I was eating bland Agnolotti sauce and vegetables, was hoping to ask for salt. Rosemary cocktail was a throwaway! Simply ginger bear full of ice. We went their after reading good reviews but food and service were disappointing!

Went here on the recommendation of a friend who lives in Marin County and calls this her favorite restaurant. We weren’t disappointed! My wife and I both got the pollo, a half chicken with yukon potatoes, veggies, and some fruits. The chicken was excellent, as were the potatoes. My wife enjoyed the fruits and veggies (not my thing). We also got the sourdough bread with butter (fine, nothing special). My coworker got the veggie pizza and said it was great. Overall, we had a solid experience and I’d definitely come back!

I am really glad we got this recommendation! They were quickly able to seat our group of 9. The tuna tartar was exquisite! The Halibut with the steamed spinach, carrots and creamy mashed potatoes were phenomenal. Not to mention the non stop great service! Too bad I don't live in the bay area, otherwise this would be a very frequent spot!
