This is the worst pizza ranch I have ever been to. Cost $40 for me and my wife. Pizza was dry and tasted like cardboard. Soda's didn't taste right. And to ice the cake we found hair in multiple peices of food. Will never come back here and I suggest you go somewhere else and don't waste your money.

The food was pretty good but most importantly, the service was phenomenal! The gentleman who served us at the counter was super kind and attentive. When we asked for something to be put out, he was very nice about it and gave us first pick. I'm sure they do this regardless but interacting with him just felt easy and I never felt like we were an inconvenience. I would seriously recommend coming here!

I called at 6:30 to let them know we had about 25 people coming, was put on hold 3 times. After 10 minutes I hang up and we went in. One lady came out of the kitchen and very loudly said “are you kidding me!” The food was decent the stopped making dessert pizza and turn the warmer off after our group was only halfway through the meal.we asked to use the party room since it was open and such a large group and the young lady at the counter said that we could. Only to have another come in 10 minutes later and rudely say “who told you you could sit in here!?” Alright food, not so great service.

My wife and I went into the Pizza Ranch in Story City, Iowa. It was 3pm on a Monday, and we were the only ones in the restaurant at that time. Laura, who was working, greeted us friendly, and asked us if we had a specific pizza we would like made. She also asked us what else we would like to have-since it was in the lull of the afternoon. We told Laura we were going to also have chicken with the pizza my wife ordered. Laura then asked us what pieces of the chicken we would like. She then proceeded to make our chicken order fresh since-again, it was the middle of the afternoon, and the lunch rush was over. Laura then went the extra mile and brought our chicken right to our table-with a smile! Look, we understood that we we’re coming in at an odd time of the day, and didn’t exactly know what to expect; but Laura was happy to see us, and waited on us hand n’ foot, and treated us like family! This was my wife and mine second visit to this Pizza Ranch in four days; and the second time had a lot to do with how friendly the employees were to us! Unfortunately, my wife and I were just passing through Story City; we wish we could visit this Pizza Ranch location more! Thanks again to Laura, and the rest of the crew at the Story City, Iowa Pizza Ranch 🤠

This was the worst pizza ranch we’ve ever ate at. First it cost us $40 for two seniors. What’s that all about. The chicken was burnt. The mashed potatoes were so thick and lumpy they wouldn’t come off the spoon. Nothing on salad bar seemed fresh. They had no desert pizza. All my husband ate was 2 pickles, a piece of burnt chicken and a scoop of pudding that seemed sour. Won’t go back again.

Walking in and there was a customer behind the counter. Two the lady when she took her money to pay for Buffet ask if there was anything special. We said yes nobody came around to pick the plates up the pizza came out that we told her we liked never brought one to the table like the other ones do. There was no chicken to say and really no pizza to eat when we came in. Worst Pizza Ranch we've ever been to

You can sure tell when the manager Laura isn't working.. we asked for a speciality pizza late because forgot to order when we paid it took 30 minutes what there was for food on the bar was dried out and cold.. when asked to talk to manager Crystal don't think she is manager no one that rude can be a manager yelling at me then telling me I was rude because I was asking questions .. if you choose to eat here please make sure Laura is working and that they don't have a large number of pizza prior to your visit .. they aren't able to handle the to go orders and the floor

As a truck driver I really come across a gem such as this. The manager was extremely polite and the food was very fresh. Dinner started at 3 o'clock I arrived at 3:50. The buffet consisted of pizza, chicken(best I have had anywhere ), corn, greenbeans, Macaroni & cheese, potatoes, chips, salad bar, several soup,Chile and desserts your beverage is included.
