I don't know how you can consider this a buffet. This isn't a buffet. Golden Corral is a buffet. This is a four station to choose from restaurant. You have a salad bar with two pudding flavors and applesauce, a pizza station with no cheese pizza and it's mixed together, a station with some fried food and no macaroni and cheese like it shows, and a desert station with two different desert pizzas. And a soft serve machine with just vanilla ice cream, no toppings. Pizza Ranch is incredibly underwhelming. A buffet is meant to have so many options to choose from that you don't even get to get to everything because you're full after two plates. Here, you only have a couple options. Extremely disappointing, not worth the price. The pizza is clearly old and just paper thin. I couldn't even finish my dinner, it's so unappetizing. I don't know if all locations are like this, but I highly recommend avoiding the Shakopee location. Watch out for the flies that also constantly contaminate their food...

God this place gives me memories… their food is a bit over average amoung other fast food restaurants and all the servers/workers there are polite, sweet, and just amazing. The atmosphere is very western/1900s cowboy themed. Place is nice and nostalgic. Love it

Wasn't too packed. Great service. Patient. To those who have never done it, please put soft serve on cactus bread and top it with the pecans from the salad bar. Let me know if you try it. It's my most favorite dessert.

We held a family reunion at the Landing park in Shakopee for about 90 people in August. We decided to simplify things and order food from Shakopee Pizza Ranch which is less than 10 minutes away. Mike helped me with ordering and ensuring the food was ready for pickup on-time. Everything went smoothly. My family really enjoyed the pizza, fried chicken, mashed potatoes with gravy, corn, green beans, salad and dessert pizzas. Lots of variety and the price was great! Next family reunion we will do the same thing. Beats grilling in the heat or organizing a potluck! We appreciate Mike and the staff at Pizza Ranch.

Used to be great food. Now not so much. Chicken was pink. Pizza was old and rarely changed out. Not much of a buffet. Wife and I won't be back.

Mary our waitress at Pizza Ranch in Shakopee is #1. She works so Hard. Goes way beyond. Very Kind, Friendly, Compassionate. Loves to get to know the people who come. A Great Asset to the place. Why so many people come because of Mary. Employees like to be Appreciated also. Never complains. Always very friendly. Why we like to go here. Love her. Lucky to have her. Adds A lot.

If you like typical American style pizza in a buffet, this is your place. Nothing really stood out to me and this reminded me mostly of another chain that I grew up eating. Other than that, there really wasn't much to it. Service was probably the best thing there.

We are big fans of Pizza Ranch, but I feel they need to mark their pizzas because people can't tell what they are and if they have ingredients someone may be allergic too. Also, they tend to leave slices out a bit too long and get cold and dry. Yesterday, the chicken we had was too salty, and it was not really edible because of the salt. This won't stop us from enjoying Pizza Ranch now and then, but we will be more careful what we choose from the buffet.
