Me and my family had an Awesomeeeee time. Food was Amazing. Truly Authentic Peruvian Food. Staff was super nice and offered us samples. I am very impressed and will be back. Love this place and thank you.

Came here for lunch with a friend. First time coming on a non-busy day. We had their signature chicken with a side of sweet plantains and an avocado salad. Food was tasteful and the dark meat was tasty. The white meat however needed some Verde sauce to get the moisture back in. We were so hungry that I forgot to snap pics of the food items we ordered. Worth coming here to try something different. Took a pic of a shot we had at the end that was very good and beautifully artistic, compliments of the waitress.

The food was delicious and the service was great. We had the mussel appetizer which was limey and served with a maize medley, so delicious! The rotisserie chicken was perfectly seasonsed and more than enough for lunch leftovers. Yum! Jenny, our server was so patient and attentive for us, a group of 8. Definitely recommend Piura.

Amazing food and really delicious traditional Peruvian dessert

Wow. Where do I even begin? Let us start with the fact that the food is very bland. Given the prices I do not expect to be served frozen french fries and frozen vegetables. The skirt steaks were small and overdone. Not only did one of my guests receive her entree after everyone in our party was almost done, but three of our side dishes came after the our meals were finished. This restaurant will be out of business soon enough and hopefully something better will take its place. Anything would be better than this place. Now if you will excuse me, I must vomit.

Came here for the first time today for their lunch special with 2 other people. Service was very attentive and we were seated immediately - it was kind of empty around 1PM. What we got: - Complimentary roasted Peruvian kernels: It was weird, dry and gritty but addictive... could have also been because I was starving lmao - 1/4 Rotisserie Chicken served with rice and beans - $7. Pretty mediocre, nothing special, friend who ordered it said that the chicken at Boston Market is actually better. Waitress offered two sauces to try with the chicken. - Lomo Saltado, skirt steak strips sauteed with onions, tomatoes and french fries, served with rice. AMAZING, so freaking good! Get it. - Aji de gallina, a classic Peruvian dish, shredded chicken with Peruvian yellow sauce served with a hard boiled egg and rice. My sister enjoyed this dish and I enjoyed trying it! :D - Coffee: had some cinnamon in it and was really yummy, when my sister asked if refills were free, the waitress said "It's not, but I'll give it to you anyway" - that was super ice of her =] - Flan $7: Was good but for $7 I've had better - Inca Cola: Can never go wrong with this lol Things to know: - Lunch special is everyday from 11:30AM-4:00PM. Prices range from $5-$8 - I probably wouldn't go here for their normal menu because of the prices. - I am NOT an aficionado of Peruvian food lol I've only have 2 other experiences to compare this meal to which are my handful of visits to Pio Pio and my Peruvian friend's mom's home cooking. I can't really comment on the foods authenticity but a majority of it was delicious and has my group and I wanting to come back. Other note: I'm pretty sure some of the other reviews of this place are fake. Try it for yourself and make up your own opinion on this place!

What a great place! Waiting on a line at a restaurant close to this one and decided to ditch the line and try this one out. What a great little place to eat! Had the papa a la huancaina, lomo, and were VERY happy! Peruvian food is amazing and this place is very good! I do agree that the spice factor was not there on the papa sauce, but I assume it's bc we didn't request a hotter sauce. I will next time. Our roasted chix was awesome too!

My husband and I have been going here for past few months and we absolutely love the mojito there. Recently I started a new diet and cut out alcohol but last week I went for one drink and the bar tender made the best skinny mojito ever. They're very accommodating to their customers needs. I enjoy the friendly environment and love to go there with friends night out and ladies night out.
