This is the definition of a diamond in the rough. The prime rib was spectacular, some of the best I have ever had. Actually, everything tasted amazing from the soup and bread to the fries and mozzarella sticks to the prime rib. Wish I had had enough room for dessert. The outside shows a little rundown, and inside is dated, but I like the variety of antiques, and who cares when the food is 100%. The server was very helpful, and everyone was so kind and welcoming despite the fact that we came in one to closing.

Multi-course fine dining in a home town atmosphere. The food was great the server was perfect and they can rightly brag about their prime rib.

Was seated pretty quickly, waitress was quick to get our drink orders. Ham and bean soup was very good l. Beef barley soup also good. Both soup and salad came out quickly. Prime rib was cooked perfect to medium rare. Fried shrimp and hasbrowns also cook to perfection, home made bread was fresh and very tasty.. out waitress Donna was probably the best waitstaff I've ever had. Paid attention, checked on a few times but not to many or to little. Very friendly and knowledgeable person..her alone would garentee a trip back here...but the food was also amazing and will definitely be back

The building needs cleaned! And then a remodel and then cleaned! The food was ok, I didn't take pictures because honestly all I could think about was getting out of there. I'm sure there's a lovely story behind the piano playing and player but honestly it was so bad that it made it hard to enjoy my food. It has carpeting and the carpeting is gross. When everything is this dirty it's easy to imagine what the kitchen is like and then it's hard to enjoy your food. You can have small town appeal and quaint oldness without having dirty bathrooms and disgusting carpet in the dining area and some type of HVAC unit that is moldy in the dining area. Please owners shut down for a month and clean, clean high, then clean low, clean. Get rid of the carpet get rid of the plastic bowls for your soup, Make a few guests upgrades like in the bathrooms and in the dining area and then just reopen and have happier customers and more customers!

Heard so many great things about this place, but it was disappointing. It was overpriced for the mediocre food. Very old building and decor. Server was friendly but seemed flustered. Best thing was the salad with house Italian dressing. Beef barley soup was excellent, too. If I go back, I'll just order the soup and salad.

I have been coming to the Pink Poodle Steakhouse since 1985. I always order the Prime Rib, and I am never disappointed. The atmosphere is cozy, the staff are friendly and efficient. The only unfort- unate thing, is that I don't live in Omaha; which makes every visit all the more special. ❤🥩

Loved the P.P ! Very down to earth/old school restaurant. Everything was a amazing...from the soup, salad, bread and yes the prime rib !! And dint forget the sweet italian dressing. It was so good that we had a pint to go. Kinda Wishing we bought more coz we're almost out of it 😭 we would definitely go back

Went to dinner there 8-15 and was impressed with the pandemic safety measures they took to keep customers as safe as they can.... We are first time customers of the establishment and was very impressed with the food quality, which was much better then outback or longhorn steakhouse, the menu was shorter and not as detailed but the waitress filled in the missing menu options and sides that come with the very delicious meals, ( main entree, one side and a salad and soup). It is a older more rustic environment but very comfortable with a friendly staff. While the menu prices may seem high, you must take into consideration the additional COVID protocol safety measures that all steakhouses have done and some significantly raised prices for, but this establishment is worth the money for their products they are serving. We highly recommend you try is their steaks, your tastebuds will thank you.
