Pike's Landing has some terrific food. The Halibut Chowder and the Coconut Prawns were pretty amazing. The Prawns were a great size and the string cut fries were fresh and tasty. The coleslaw was kind of weird to me. The chowder was really great and was probably the best fish chowder I've ever had. The restaurant is right on the Chena River and there is a deck that you can enjoy when the weather cooperates. Unfortunately, it's right across the street from the airport which is pretty noisy at times. The inside could use a serious revamp. They have lots of pool tables which is always a good thing IMO.

Great spot on the river with a view from almost anywhere inside. I ended up with the spicy burger (beware the jalapeno!!!), and we also had the tower appetizer - good, but B+ kinda good. I'd guess either high summer or high winter would both be awesome here!

The service was fast and accurate. The server was attentive and pleasant with a great sense humor. The Buffalo wings were spicy but not excessive. The basket also had carrot and celery strips. We also had the best peanut butter pie. It was firm, smooth, and the flavor burst in your mouth. Great place to eat.

The restaurant is right beside the Pike’s lodge and is overlooking beautiful river. We went during winter and so had to sit inside. Otherwise you can also sit in the patio and enjoy the stunning views. Service was really fast and food here is absolutely amazing. We went there 2 days in a row for lunch and they delivered. Ordered Tower of Power and all the items in it (coconut prawns, crab stuffed mushrooms and Steak tips) are delicious. Also, ordered Alaskan Ragin’ Cajun pasta and it is soo good as well. The drinks here are pretty decent too. Must try restaurant if you are in the Fairbanks area!

Service was so quick and sweet! Our food was delicious don’t pass up on those crab stuff mushrooms. We also go the salmon salad, crab bisque, and fish and chips. Beautiful to eat right on the river!

Cute log cabin with cozy indoor eating and game room or beautiful al fresco dining covered or uncovered on a large patio and deck overlooking a beautiful river. Also has a mini driving range. Great service, waiter was on top of everything. Food was good atmosphere fantastic.

Cool locally owned spot. Typical menu but cool drink options. Outside deck is nice, but sadly not open when we were here.

For our last dinner in Fairbanks we went to Pikes. It was fairly busy, but our server let us know that she will be with us shortly and she kept her word. The ambiance is of a lively sports-bar kind place. We decided on stuffed mushrooms for appetizer and they were super good! My husband ordered the ragin cajun and I got the coconut prawns. My son ordered the bacon burger and my other kid got the bacon Mac n cheese. The cocktails were fairly standard and the entrees & drinks came out to our table at reasonable time. The prawns were decent coconut prawns…not as sweet as I would have liked, but good coating and not oily. My husband did love his cajun dish. My kids enjoyed their meals as well. Its a fine place to go if you are nearby but I don’t feel like we would have gone out of our way to be there.
