This place was one of the coolest places I’ve ever been the owner is amazing!!!! Me and my group came down Atlanta for spring break and this has been the highlight of our trip! The coffee is amazing and they both toast and grid the beans in house, if you love good coffee and amazing hospitality please try it out!!!!! They even let us dress up in traditional Ethiopian dresses!!!!

Please please please try this place if your in Atlanta there so amazing there and the food is so good!!! Both me and my friends a big eaters and we quite literally couldn’t finish all the food given! The owner is amazing and seemed to really care that we had a good time!!!! Best place in Atlanta to eat by far and the people who work here put so much effort into the food made never have I ever had food so good!!! Also so many murals and art pieces Inside so if art is your thing I would go just to check out the walls !!!

My family loves this restaurant. It's the perfect going-out restaurant when you're craving good Ethiopian food. The atmosphere is interesting, casual and comfortable. The food is very delicious. I recommend getting a combination of vegetarian dishes and meat dishes. There is also 2 full bars, pool tables and large TVs for viewing sports events. Fun restaurant. Highly recommend.

I wish I had millions of stars to rate Piassa Ethiopian restaurants! The food reminds me of my mom's kitchen—it's incredibly delicious! Moreover, they treat me like a king, serving me with utmost care and attention. The restaurant setup is reminiscent of the grandeur and opulence found in the houses of Ethiopian kings.

Absolutely fantastic! Great food, service and beer! Thank you for giving this out-of-towner a great experience. I got the vegetarian platter and was not disappointed. Wonderful flavors and variety. Plus very filling.

I have had mixed experiences at this restaurant but I went for the Ethiopian Christmas on Jan 7th and ordered kintot super for 3. There was plenty of food Enough to feed 5 people so the 70$ + was justified. The service was pretty fast and friendly. The only thing I didn't like is the overtop loud speakers. I suggest turning it down. It can get a bit overwhelming

The place had good vibes and mediocre food compared to Ethiopian restaurants around metro Atlanta. They have a habit of adding 20% forced gratuity to the bill and still expecting a cash tip afterward. For anyone who dines here, I would recommend looking at your bill carefully as they have a habit of tucking stuff in. Me and my friends ordered food and drinks which should have had total of about $250 for 5 people. But when we requested the bill, The total bill came out to be $334 of which $56 was the forced gratuity. We asked what the added gratuity was and were told that it is the cost we pay for coming in as a group. We tried to get it removed to no avail. and we were still expected to leave cash as a tip. We just paid the bill and left without leaving any cash. Now I am a believer of tipping wait staff even if they don't take care of you that much but being forced to tip via a bill and then still asking to be tipped by cash is outright ridiculous. PLEASE AVOID DINING HERE OR AT LEAST KNOW THAT YOU WILL HAVE TO EXPERIANCE THE ABOVE ORDEAL IF YOU DO DINE.

This place is incredible. They were so hospitable and happy, answered our questions in a very friendly way, and we were a party of 10. They invited us to watch a coffee ceremony, let us wear traditional clothing and pour the coffee, and we even got to be a part of a birthday celebration. They were the nicest and most excited people about us being so interested in their culture. Have never been so well accepted in a restaurant! The food was incredible, there was so much food for the price and the coffee was the best ever! I loved it with my whole heart, it made my day, my week, my month, my year!
