I tried Phoenicia today and wanted to like it and give them more stars, but couldn't. First: the owners, I believe they were the owners, were very friendly and nice! This is why I wanted to rate more than my 3. However, the rice, potatoes, and salad were sooooo bland to me. I was expecting to taste some sort of seasoning or flavor on the rice, but it just wasn't there-even with the sauces provided. Same thing with the salad and dressing. I also ordered the Batata Hara. On the menu it stated it would have fresh garlic, cilantro, salt and pepper. The only thing it did have was cilantro from what the menu listed. In addition to the cilantro, there was red sauce that tasted like hot sauce. Me growing up with and around hot sauce, I would be shocked if it wasn't hot sauce. I was really disappointed with because I did not want fries and hot sauce and it was bland! I did end up throwing out the rice, salad, and potatoes. The Good: the chicken kabob was good. The chicken was cut in a nice size, tender, and had flavor. Also, the shawarma according to my friend was one of the better ones she has had since moving to MO.

I can't give this place enough stars they are my favorite little spot at all of the county And the owner is absolutely fantastic I have been to 3 other places ... this one is still the best ;) Update on the review... there's literally nothing on this menu that is an outstanding, and they are the nicest people.... their foul medamas Is incredible as well as everything....

Updates after regular visits. Still loving the food and the owner. Im his customer for a long time to come ! Every dish is delicious 😋 😍 Omg ! Superb Mediterranean food ! Fresh and delicious... my entire family just love it ! I love the drink called Jalab, it's sweet and has nuts and goodies. Very tasty and delicious !

Omg. This place absolutely is a home run. The owner is Lebanese, so if you're REALLY into mid east food, you can expect Lebanon flavors all around. The hummus was smooth, the pita was fresh, and the beef shawarma was great, the pistachio baklawa i ordered was delicious! Its Not that boxed trash from the store...They must make it in house here. I could have had the whole tray of it. The food portion was ginormous too. They even had those canned middle eastern style pickle spears on my order. I would go back in a heartbeat.

Ok so obviously you know this is going to be a stellar review. But seriously this place is amazing. The food is abundant and fresh. When he said this is the best tabbouleh salad you’ll have, it was no exaggeration. 10/10 Stars love the food and the people

I stopped by here with my wife and friend after seeing the good reviews and was not disappointed. You can find most Mediterranean classics here but Phoenicia puts its own unique twist on it. Everything is home made and the owner gave us plenty of suggestions and answered our questions with no hesitation. Definitely one of the nicest guys I've met. We got there a little before 12 on a Saturday so we didn't have to wait too long. The hummus is your standard hummus, but the pita that comes with it is good. The falafel goes great with the sauce it comes with and the "sandwhiches" are well seasoned. I did notice some other customers had to wait a little bit, but it is definitely worth it!

It was my first time eating here. The menu is vast and affordable. We were greeted immediately. I had the gyro sandwich, falafel, and Greek salad. All were very good. The portions were more than adequate. I was able to take a portion of everything home. I recommend this small establishment.

I went to this restaurant with my uncle and the rest of my family. The owner ambushed us outside when he saw my uncle left a $6 tip on a carry out order. He knocked my uncles phone away, then punched him in the face in front of our entire family, 6 of whom were kids. We are all deeply scarred. I think he got triggered when he found out we were Indian
