I placed an online order friday. Says they are open on both google and online order. I order pho online. I show up to pick it up. They are closed!! You guys owe me a pho I do not know how to refund that order. Update your info!!!!!!!! Great food though
Fantastic beef pho. We got meatballs and brisket. I'd give five stars but the shrimp spring rolls just had too many noodles inside of it. And I wanted a piece of mint but that's just me. the pho was outstanding
Excellent food and friendly service! We love Pho ("Fah" not Foh) and we'll definitely come back!
Good stuff! I really enjoy their pho, but I wish they wouldn't cook their noodles so far ahead. At least it seems like they do, as the noodles are usually all stuck together and need a little coaxing to separate. Regardless, that's the most horrible thing I've noticed! The broth is delicious, the veg appears quite fresh, you can get things spicy, if you ask nicely. Good food, good people. It isn't fancy, but it sure is tasty!
Ordered Pho to go, the portion of noodles they gave me was unacceptable, it wouldnt even fill up a toddler. I basically paid $17 for just the broth. The meat tasted rotten and looked rotten. I would not recommend or even give this place a 1 star. Viet Taste in Libertyville is 110% better. Not bland, perfect amount of portion, tasteful, service is great, and the prices are cheap.
I love Vietnamese food, and Pho Nam Bac is my go-to place on the North Shore! They offer fresh, delicious meals with generous portions and healthy, flavorful ingredients. I have ordered from them many times and have never been disappointed!
Went to Pho Nam Bac for a late lunch. Flank steak pho delicious, shrimp pho delicious, spring rolls wonderfully fresh and tasty, nice sauce. Very friendly service and accommodating. Simple place in a strip mall but worth the visit. Next time I will try the egg rolls. Will definitely put this on my routine dining experiences. Just wish they had ice to add to beverages. Love this place!
It was ok. The portions are really big which is nice. Spring rolls were pretty good too. The food overall was alright. I think viet taste in Lincolnshire is better. Service was not what I would call friendly. Yes, I wanted some hoisin sauce for my bun. Is that a bad thing?
