Breakfast Menu "Pho Good" Shawnee

I am leaving Pho Good a 2-star review and this is mainly due to the food. I ordered a pho with steak slices. The broth was ok (nothing impressive), it was a little darker than I expected it to be. What I was surprised about was that all the garnishes provided was CILANTRO, handful of bean sprouts and a couple slices of jalapenos and a lime slice. Where was the Thai basil, mint, thinly sliced onions or even spearmint or even Vietnamese basil? I would have settled for just cilantro and Thai basil. But no, only cilantro as the main garnish? I knew they had to have forgotten so I kindly asked the server with the owner standing there if they had any other herbs and they said that is all pho is served with...I was baffled. I said ok and just went back to my table. Additionally I ordered the fried shrimp and sweet potatoes. There were about 6 small shrimps total in a sea of sweet potato sticks and that was disappointing. I will not be getting pho here again. They also charge $12-$15 for a bowl. I know times are hard but they need to serve at least one more type of herb with a Vietnamese dish such as pho. Service was three star because the server was nice but they did not refill our drinks at all and once 9pm hit (though we were about to leave), he came over and told us it was 9pm and they close at 9pm. He did not say it rudely but just a matter of factly which is fine. Go to Vietnam Cafe or iPho Tower for pho. I will still come here though because it is pretty spacious but I will stick to the cold Vietnamese noodle bowls.

Food is delicious 🤤 I've been here many times. My favorite to order is the lemon grass chicken with white rice, vermicelli combo, and sweet potato fries. Everything is so yummy. Even the carrots taste different than regular ones. Can't explain it. Service is good. Atmosphere is chill. Be sure to check this place out. Today I just got the lemon grass chicken and vermicelli combo. I love the vermicelli combo because it comes with noodles, veggies, meat, egg roll, and the sauce. Ugh... everything just make sense together and mixing up all the ingredients is so satisfying. The lemon grass chicken with rice comes with veggies as well. It is tangy. Not too sweet. No spice. Just nice. 👍🏼

The name doesn't lie. The pho was damn good. I could have had two bowls because the portions are small, but I'm just splitting hairs. Get some. The price was more than fair so you can also get a side while on a budget, if you're looking to save some money. I bet it's a blast doing karaoke there.

I've never tried Pho in my life so I really wanted to try something new and different. Especially with the dreary weather. It was such a great way to warm up. As soon as I walked in, it was a calm and serene experience. The music definitely sets the tone and welcomes you to relax. I was seated right away, the staff was very friendly and made you feel at home. I ordered the Pork Egg Rolls as an appetizer along with the Pho Good Special. The egg rolls were piping hot and delicious. The sauce the came with it was the perfect combination of sweet and sour. The Pho Good Special was savory! It contained flank steak ,meat balls, brisket and tenderloin. It was such a perfect way to warm up in the pouring cold rain today. They also had bubble tea drinks, I did not get one but when I come back I'm definitely going to grab one to go! I wish I would have gotten my servers name. She was an absolute sweetheart. Pho Good? Pho-mazing!!!

Something has changed at this restaurant in the last year and it's no longer as authentic as it used to be. It's still good, but it's much more americanized pho food now. The shrimp spring rolls also aren't as good as they used to be. On the other hand service was very good.

A very nice place. My husband and I ordered pho and a iced coffee which was strong and perfect. My 2 year old and 9 month old happily shared a vermicelli bowl. They loved the noodles and pork but they wouldn’t eat the egg roll so I tried it and it was dry. Aside from that the rest was good. I guess our only issue was they had like four high chairs but only one of them has a working buckle. So we would get one and be like nope and have to try another one. Thankfully they do have a working one though :) and if you don’t have a wiggly baby maybe that wouldn’t be an issue :)

The beef sirloin pho was so delicious. The egg rolls were excellent and the dipping sauce they came with totally enhanced the flavor. I would recommend adding more meat and noodles because once I ran out I was still wanting more, it was that good. The wings were simple, crispy and just perfect for an extra little something. So yummy. Will definitely be ordering from here often!

We had a party of 6. Not once did the waiter inform us of an automatic max tip being added to the order. Not once did the waiter refill or check on us until the end when we had to get their attention for the ticket. It's a good place to eat but if you have a bigger party just be aware.
