Exactly what I'd expect from an older school luncheonette, quick service, cash only, great from scratch food. The poached eggs on my Benedict were cooked perfectly, hash wasn't overly salty and had great flavor, hollondaise wasn't from a packet with a nice lemon kick, and the sautéed spinach was fresh. It'll be a trek to come back out this way but well worth it.

Salad Turkey Mashed Potatoes and spinach Side of chocolate milk Tuna melt on whole wheat side of fries and Cole slaw a pickle and a Pepsi. Cole slaw is DELICIOUS!!!! Meatloaf Corned beef and cabbage with carrots It's Homemade!

I never did get to eat breakfast! The waitress was not open to taking my order. This is exactly what happened. I asked for my eggs to be cooked medium well, with just a bit of sunshine to them. Her reply was a lecture on the way eggs are cooked. Over easy, medium, and well done completely rejecting my request with an attitude I might add. Just a completely unnecessary reply. Upon my tossing a $5 bill on the table for the coffee ☕ and walking out upset. She put on this phoney front. "Oh what's the matter baby, what's wrong? To which I thank God for not responding to. In front of her. I was completely taken back by her. Too bad for this the food is actually excellent. But all it takes is one bad apple to sour the experience.

1st time here and I can say I enjoyed my breakfast. I had corned beef hash with eggs and the hash was very good and lite. The wife had a BLT with fries and she enjoyed it also. I will definitely be back

We were looking for a place to grab breakfast while waiting to take the ferry to Fire Island. What a great find! Breakfast was very good and the service was outstanding.

I was told they have an old favorite breakfast of mine. Liver smothered in onions with a side of grits.. They taste like home. Thank you

Cozy old time feel , with great old school cooking. Best breakfast with great portions, waitresses are attentive and friendly ..❤️❤️

Peter's has been around a long time & I've been eating there often for 35 years because food is delicious & homemade. Something for everyone. Try it, you'll like it.
