Breakfast Menu "Peruchos" Bear

Ordered the Chicken a la Pobre and Bistec a la Pobre. This was the second time eating at this location, the first being more than a year ago. They are pretty consistent, okay food, when comparing to other Peruvian, Argentine, Columbian, Dominican, Puerto Rican, Panamanian (you get it) cuisines. Ultimately, their sauce which is offered as a condiment, made the food. Will I again? Maybe in another year or two, but not likely.

In addition to sauces being consistently wrong and/or missing when I order through delivery services (e.g. Uber Eats), found a hair in the chicken I ordered today. Unfortunately will probably not order from here again. Sucks, because the food has otherwise been consistently good.

Went in right before close because Kenny's decided to stop seating customers an hour early. Perucho's was very accommodating and the employees let us take a photo with the stuffed llama out front. Peruvian chicken is my favorite kind of chicken.

This is the best chicken I have ever had, so juicy and full of flavor.

I went exactly at opening on sunday. Everything was super clean, waittress/host was super attentive. Answered all our questions. Bathroom was spacious. Even better - the food. I ordered half chicken with rice and fried plaintains. $11.99 My friend ordered 1/4 chicken with rice and french fries. $8.99. The chicken we both noticed was very juicy and you can pull the bone off the meat easily. The skin had so much flavor. The rice was just regular yellow rice, but it mixed well with the powerful punch of the chicken and the fried plaintains. Plaintains were slightly crispy on the edges and very tasty on the inside. The sauces mild-medium-hot were all very good. My favorite was the medium, not only was it spicy but it was flavorful too. We checked in on Yelp and got a free bottle of their hot sauce. We got the round cake with dulche de leche inside for dessert and it was perfect, very soft and flavorful too. Bill was reasonable. $25 We tipped $5 = $30. Worth it. Would go again soon.

I saw the reviews that warn about poor service. We ordered anyway using Uber Eats pickup. In the order comments for every item we put: “if not gluten free then please cancel this item. Thanks!”. The entire order was fulfilled. I called to order take out today and placed the exact same order to see what they’d say. I ended the order with, “all of that can be prepared gluten free?”. The response “I don’t know, man” I just hung up without saying a word. I knew they just ignored my dietary requirement the first time. These people don’t deserve your hard earned money nor your respect. Go ahead owner. Show your true colors yet again with an insulting reply to a customer. It’s a pattern. You should go into another line of work. You’re making people sick instead of turning down a $20 order.

Horrible customer service. I walked in , ordered my food from the takeout counter and paid with cash. Once my food was given to me my order was completely wrong. I called and spoke with the manager for him to tell me that I’m incorrect and that my food order was made properly and that I don’t know the difference between a jalapeño and cilantro. He told me to bring the food back. So I drove all the way back to the restaurant, I returned the food only for The manager to agree with me that it was cooked incorrectly. I asked if I could have it remade he told me no and gave me my money back. I asked if I could order something else from the menu, he said , with an attitude, no just take your money. I will never return.

Delicious, prices a little high but the food taste great 👍
