User Reviews

Service was good. Started out with a dirty spoon in my coffee. Pulled spoon out of cup and there was stuff stuck to it. Food came quickly. There was very little on my plate. 2 piece of bacon 3 inches long, about a half a cup of hashbrowns. And two small eggs. $12.00 + tip

When you walk in and the first face that you see in the restaurant rolls their eyes, and announces loudly, "you know there's going to be a wait for a table right?", that's not only a sign of a bad employee, it's a sign of bad management as well. The problems continued throughout our visit there. Most of the wait staff walked around in a huff like they were bothered that there were customers in their restaurant. And when they did finally take our order, they were patronizing and condescending in their tone. Usually, a restaurant brings utensils to eat the meal before they bring the meal. Not here... The bottom line is this... Don't get into the people business if you don't like people. But the way to solve this restaurant's problems is to just get rid of all the customers. Then they'll have no problems at all.

Never in my life have I thrown away food. I grew up a poor kid..but when your burger is thrown together, burnt and tastes rancid, it goes in the trash. I called the store and they don’t care to deal with me (ex employee) so m, I’m out 26 dollars. My husband had to wait 40 minutes in that store for cold, sloppy, (wrongly made) food. The burger tasted like the meat was bad. The fact he had to wait that long for two burgers is terrible. If it were me, I’d have gotten my money back and walked out. I know you don’t care about my review, as I am an ex employee, but when I worked at this place I CARED about it. I never would have willingly served someone this junk. I don’t like to complain either, as a waitress I have been in your shoes, but step it up! It saddens me to see this place go so downhill.

Our family stopped here for breakfast after church. I usually love Perkins, but not this time. We walked in at the same time as 4 others and then waited...my daughter was with and is also an employee at this Perkins. She said they were short 3 servers because of it being Christmas Eve morning. My daughter helped bus tables so we could sit down. I have no complaints about our server we had, even though we had to wait longer than usual. The big complaint I have is how rude and unprofessional the manager, Mike was to customers. He actually started telling customers that walked in the door that the kitchen was closing and they would have to leave! Our food was great and our server was nice. I just can't believe a manager of a restaurant would send customers away because of being stressed!

The waitress and service was good. Unfortunately the 1/4 pound cheese burger was not good. Tasted like it was sitting for hours under a heat lamp. Dry and not appetizing. Definitely wouldn't suggest that to anyone. My daughter's soup came out of the microwave and was only lukewarm. I really thought their food was better than that, but guess I was wrong!

12/22/2018 12:00 noon entered Perkins to eat lunch. Was seated and within 5 minutes had our drink order and meal ordered. Which was fine as they were busy. A table of 10 was seated on one side of our booth and a family of 4 on the other. 30 minutes had gone by with food going to tables seated before us which is how it should be, but then the table of 10 and 4 got their orders... We told the waitress we were here way before either of these 2 tables and walked out. She was a terrible waitress. In her 50s, 5'8", 160lbs, brown hair past her shoulders. TERRIBLE SERVICE

My husband and I took the girls out after church. Pulled in and didn’t look busy. We were seated within minutes of arriving, which was nice. Our waitress was great, but we could tell she was being overworked. We ordered our appetizer of onion rings and it came out about 45minutes later. Our food came out after an hour and a half. My oldest daughter ordered Mac n’ cheese, I don’t know what was wrong with it but it was gross. (Picture included) It was cold and tasted, well, off. The waitress offered to get her something different so she asked for the pancakes and they came out within 5 minutes. My husband, daughter and I all tried this Mac n’ cheese. I ordered a teriyaki shrimp and rice. It tasted wonderful. Was seasoned perfectly, my only complaint was nothing on my plate was hot, and it’s served on a cast iron skillet. I had one small portion of food that was almost warm and the remaining was cold. Room temperature. That tells me it was sitting out for awhile before arriving to me. The waitress kindly took it back and they warmed it on a plate and brought it back to me. (For those of you who don’t know, this isn’t professional.) It’s professional to offer a new one, but I can’t complain because I hadn’t ate since 7:30 this morning. My husband ordered a burger. He said the fries tasted good and normal, they were also warm. He was displeased with the burger. The ingredients were not fresh based on look and taste. The lettuce, tomato and onion were all off. The burger was also warm to about room temperature. We paid almost $40 for our meals which almost entirely displeased us. I’m not sure we will go back again. Most of our visits have turned into being bad experiences, which makes me sad, because this used to be one of my favorite places to eat. I only gave this place a two star instead of one because I’m 9 months pregnant and the waitress took that into consideration when seating us, as well as making sure my 11 month old and 8 year old were accommodated with seating and activities/crayons. We spent a total of 2 1/2 hours in this restaurant. Most of the time was spent waiting on our food/drinks. My husband left his burger and my daughter took her pancakes to go, so we left within ten minutes of receiving our food. Lunch was disappointing.

The service was great, our server took our order right away. Our food only took about 10 minutes to come out, and was perfect. It was free pie Monday so that added to the rating. The food was good, noting special but it did taste good. Overall a good place to eat.
