There was a 20 minute wait that went by fast. They are at half staff on every equipment in the kitchen and as servers. The hostess was nice, attentive, and informative. She apologized about the wait and explained why. The server was nice as well. The food was better than I had last time coming here and I became full fast. I had to get dessert to go.

Dinner was great here. My server was Ari, she was smiling and seemed eager to be there. Elicia (unsure on spelling) brought me ranch when I asked, she even did it with a smile! The other workers (I don’t know their names) checked on me plenty. All in all great experience, I’ll be back!

I had a great time here. It wasn't super busy that night so we got our food fairly quickly. The pie is so delicious. Also the service was very good. Highly recommend!

Worse experience ever!! Server was horrible! Food was cold when brought to our table. She never checked to see if our food was good and how things were. Never came to check if we needed refills. We had to wait forever and when she finally walked by and said what you guys waiting for the check? We responded we’ve been wanting a refill and haven’t got the check yet. She refilled my husbands drink and then brought us the check. My husband had lemonade and I had water yet as the pictures shows we were charged for two drinks. While we were eating though our server was waiting on another table, she came back and we believe we heard her tell one of other employees that the city of Newton cop was her customer at the table and he told her he remembers arresting her twice. Very unprofessional. And then after that she avoided the dinning table area a lot and anytime she came out she had her fingers in her side of mouth. And never washed them before touching our glass to refill my husbands drink. Very disgusting. We then proceeded to the check out desk and was asked how things were and advised very horrible service, and food was cold and we were being charged for two drinks when I had water and husband had lemonade. The service leader blonde girl said she was sorry but food is brought out promptly when done and I said obviously not since food was cold. She then proceeded to tell us usually she has a 20 percent off coupon on our next visit but she didn’t have any available but she did have 6 muffin coupon. I advised I can’t eat muffins because I am on a no sugar added diet and wouldn’t give us anything else to compensate for the bad experience. I will most definitely will never visit this Perkins again.

We ate at 5:30 pm on Saturday evening. It was not busy. Samantha was our waitress and she was instantly likable and very good. The food was delicious and hot. Samantha provided a lemon wedge to squeeze on the salad and was that ever delicious! There must have been an excellent cook on duty too. Samantha is the first decent wait staff we have had since our very favorite, Malachi, left this location. What a loss!

My wife Pam was hungry for a Newton Perkins Patty Melt today so off we went. I'm having to carefully monitor what I eat, as I'm on a gout friendly diet, so I opted for an omelet. My meal came with sourdough toast, a helping of hash brown potatoes. The egg wrapping of the omelet was thick and deliciously tender and featured green peppers, onions and hash browns inside along with a topping of cheese. At my request the server included a little cup of hollandaise sauce I promptly poured all over the top. Our experience at this Newton location has been consistently excellent. Jordan, the young man who was our server today did an outstanding job, very friendly and helpful, checking on us numerous times. This restaurant has an exceptionally good kitchen and has consistently knocked it out of the park each visit. As you can clearly see in my photos, this Newton Perkins won my coveted Clean Plate Award hands down, no contest today.

We were there around 9pm on a Sunday night with extended family. We had a large group, and they were lightly staffed, but our waitress was so pleasant, and worked so hard, that we were pleased with the service. Sage (our waitress) was the real key to the pleasant evening. My meal was tasty and reasonably priced as well.

Went to eat with my family, We were sat almost instantly. Our server Aundrea made sure to get our drinks out right away and took our order right away! Not even 10 minutes pass and we got all of our food all correct hot and VERY tasty! The cook is amazing and our server was even better! AMAZING service and amazing food!
