My mom and I have been coming here for years. That's because the food is great but what really makes it for us are the employees. We have never had a bad server, hostess or cashier. Jody was our server today. She was attentive to our requests and made sure we we satisfied. I can not say enough wonderful things about this location and the amazing people that work here.
Worst service ever! Walked in at about 1 PM. Not busy in the restaurant at all. Saw 3 waitresses, one about 4 ft from me. Not one acknowledged my presence. A nod or a smile or a "be right with you" would have sufficed. Nothing. I waited. An older couple walked in behind me. They waited. No one acknowledged any of us. We stood there nearly 15 minutes. I looked over my shoulder at the couple and asked, "Can you see me?" They nodded and the woman agreed that she was feeling invisible too. Finally a manager in a blue long-sleeved shirt came out of the kitchen. He was on his phone. He pointed and said someone would be right with us. It was another 2-3 minutes before someone asked if we wanted a table for three. I was seated separately and the waitress was friendly and efficient. Food OK, not great. I went to the counter to pay but no one was there. I waited again. A full 7 minutes. Out of desperation I left the cash and the ticket in front of the register drawer. As I walked to my car I passed the same blue-clad manager, outside, again on his phone, explaining to someone that the kitchen was backed up but no one told him that customers were unhappy. Saying that he had had to comp a meal and that about 8 people in one party was going to leave a bad review and that they knew his name. I wish I knew his name. Lousy management for sure. I won't be back.
If you are looking for a good Nd flavored meal this pancake combo and blue muffins French toast gets 3 starts from us. Flavored, timely manner and fullfillingly but the customer service was essential. You know it is about moment for us as well as the taste!
We thought we would try Perkins Restaurant in the Villages, Fl after living here for 19 years, well now I know why we never ate here. Visited here on early Saturday morning for breakfast and the restaurant was the filthiest place I have any seen. The tables weren't even wiped down, the molding was coming off the walls in the booth areas probably have mold growing in there. The rugs had food and crumbs very visible to be seen by everyone, doesn't anyone ever clean this restaurant. This restaurant needs to be reported to the health department, dirty, dirty place. We will never eat at this establishment again. Don't waste your money eating here, eat where it is clean.
My wife and I entered the restaurant a few minutes after 7 pm. They were not busy. We saw three watresses, but no one acknowledged we were there for about 10 minutes. We were then told she would be "right with us". 5 minutes passed and we were not seated or even spoken to again. We left without ever being seated and we will not be returning. This was just about as poor of service as I have ever experienced anywhere.
Ginger was our waitress and she did a wonderful job waiting us for lunch. She immediately treated us with a bubbly attitude and made all of our moods boost. this place is a clean atmosphere and the food is spontaneous. i’ve been coming here since i was 5 years old and i can say it has been a pleasure growing up in such a friendly restaurant environment. i love everything about Perkins. 10/10 recommend!!
Overall nice experience every time. Friendly staff and willing to please. The food is pretty good and they have nice promo offers.
We had the best waitress! My order came incorrectly and she apologized and quickly made it the correct order. Very rare I today's restaurants to encounter someone like her. My corrected order was delicious 😋
