We came late at night and had so much fun. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The atmosphere was comfortable and homey. It felt like visiting an aunt or cousin and being greeted with yummy food! We were in a hurry and didn't get a chance to try any dessert but we are looking forward to it for next time.
Perkins is a homestyle, local sit-down joint that offers real comfort food. An in-house bakery solidifies that statement. I highly recommend the French toast, lemon meringue pie, the mammoth muffins and the featured chicken fried steak. $9-16 a person on average. Fairly nice portion sizes. Our server, Jeanene was a delight, so friendly and extremely up to beat with the service! Get her a raise! There is a reason that there were flocks of people out the door, in the bakery and nearly occupying every seat in the restaurant. Easy recommendation for a sit down homey meal in Idaho Falls!
Has a wide variety of exciting menu choices my favorite is the build your own omelette. But there's other sandwiches I like as well. You just know when you come here you're going to be able to get something good. The service is most times really good. You can tell that the servers are used to it being busy there because no matter how much they're having to run their tails off, they keep a smile in their voice and on their face five stars because I couldn't give six
55+ menu. Egg Benedict with potatoes and fruit. All were very good. Service was excellent. Very attentive and friendly. $9.32
Hands down best place for breakfast and the pies are marvelous. Now lets talk about price, I was surprised they didn't increase their prices like every other place I've eaten at. The pies are still $15.99 and not 35 like other places
This place never disappoints! It has consistently been the best place to get breakfast in town. The food is always good and our server Kennedy was especially nice and patient with us ordering this time around.
Can’t ever go wrong with a classic like Perkins. I do feel like it may be time for a slight remodel. From what looked like yellow ceiling tiles, to the wait staff almost running into each other multiple times due to the design of their POS system alcove. Otherwise the food was decent and staff is always friendly and sociable you’ll be well taken care of here.
Our family dines here quite often and everytime Is so good! The staff are always so friendly. We have had Tina as a server a few times and she is great. The food is always hot and and cooked perfect. It's a very clean restaurant and very well maintained. I highly recommend for all ages. YUM!
