Can't rate anything because we never got seated. Stood for 15 minutes at a dirty table waiting for it to get cleaned so we could sit. Waitresses looked at us and never asked if they could help. It's a shame; we heard the food was good and we were looking forward to eating there.
Very friendly staff. Prices were very high for portions. Ordered crispy hash browns, which actually came out under cooked. Waitress got another order for me (she agreed they weren't crispy). The other order was crispy but very small portion and dripping in grease. Not up to other Perkins we've been to.
Food was really good as Perkins usually is. Definitely wondered to myself why the Southern Fried Chicken Biscuit Breakfast needed the extra cheese on top of the gravy but it was good regardless. Only issue would have been the service which wasn’t bad just stretched thin and we all understand that in 2021.
Very affordable! Came here for breakfast. Staff is super kind. My waitress was Sheena who was so sweet and very attentive. My omelette was perfect and came out quickly, and the pancakes and hash brown were also good. The restaurant is kept very clean. I didn’t get any bakery items but those looked good as well!
Got eggs Benedict here, not a good choice. Eggs were sunny side up fried with hard yolks not poached and runny as they should be. Hollandaise sauce was barely passable, no lemon flavor at all. My wife got an egg, bacon, and cheese sandwich(not on menu) and it was so-so at best. Can't vouch for rest of menu but I'd try something else! On the upside, service was very good, and atmosphere was fine. Will say the strawberry pie was very good!
5/24/23 Wednesday evening about 8:15pm. - Had to wait until the hostess finished her conversation with a friend, then she finally seated us. Waited 8-10 minutes for a server to even approach the table which didn't happen. Got up to leave, passed the hostess & informed her we were leaving due to poor service and her response to us was "what's the big deal?" Really?? There were only about 7 people seated in the restaurant at the time. Again, really???
This was the best meal. I had breakfast and my husband had fish and chips Rating this Perkins; better than the ones in Monroe County. Above & beyond clean, staff was very attentive and the food was great!!!Would recommend this one as the best so far!!
Always a stop when traveling through Pennsylvania. The food is good but the service and overall atmosphere is over the top. Everyone I came in contact with was courteous, efficient, friendly and makes you feel at home.
