My daughter and I stopped here for carry-out subs for lunch, being that she lives nearby. She had previously told me of a sub she thought I would like, the mufuletta, which they don't always have. Well they did, and that's what I ordered. We brought them back to her apartment to eat, and I have to say it was one of the very best subs I've ever had (and I've had real mufulettas in GA and New Orleans). The bread was fresh and amazing, and the meats and cheeses, overwhelming! I hope I can get one again if I'm back in town visiting.

It's sort of 3 businesses in one. Bar to the left, Pepperjack's in the middle, coffee shop on the right. They all share the same interior, with some separation. You can walk from one to the other without going outside. At first, I thought the BLT (pictured) looked amazing. But the way it's made is a disaster. Hosgy roll with mayo, a couple of romaine leaves, a pile of bacon, and some tomatoes. Veggies were fresh, bacon cooked near perfect. But... When you try to take a bite, the innards go shooting out & make a mess. Ended up eating it with a fork. The fries were pretty good.

High quality sandwiches in a really pleasant atmosphere. I thoroughly enjoyed the turkey cranberry sub with side salad. Delicious bread and awesome dressing.. Not overdone. Sat by the fireplace on comfy couch. Enjoy.

Corned beef melt was excellent pic w/ fries. Fries were truly some of the best I've ever had. Glad I finally tried them. Roast beef melt (pic) (like a cheesesteak sub) was excellent. Quality roll and taste was great. Cubano melt (pic) was also great, have them add some extra mustart. And the Stromboli Melt (pic) was great. The Reuben was also great, but I'd recommend it on their roll instead of rye. Sacrilege I know, but their rolls are just awesome. Be careful upcharges tho. I've had one Garden Salad w/ Tuna Salad (pic). It was tasty, filling and all fresh, no brown lettuce. However, I don't recommend their chicken sandwiches. Meat was chewy, couldn't finish it, like it was frozen thawed and frozen again or something. Also had their cheeseburger on a sub. The meat again the weak spot. I don't know if they cook this on site or not. Their Italian Cold Cut (pic) was pretty good. The meats were bunched up in the middle, but it was really tasty with oil and vinegar and banana peppers. They now have a coffee bar (place next door went out of business they took it over summer 2021). I like their cold brew iced coffee for my after lunch treat. They now have a side business that is a brewery, supposed to open by summer 2022. 2022. See pictures, large garage door seating.

Ordered a 7" sub, and it was delicious. The service was great, and the staff have a great sense of humor. The music was loud, the only big detractor from the atmosphere. Def recommend for a good quick lunch.

Oh wow, this was good! This was my first time at Pepperjacks and it was a pleasant surprise. The food was prepared fast and service was very well organized. I got the Blue Burger sub and everything about it was on-point. Old Bay and vinegar for the fries is it’s own 5-star item. Very well done! I did not try a milkshake but saw a few customers with one and they looked great. I’ll be back here for sure.

Update: Came back on a week day as my wife and I really wanted to try this place. Boy do we regret it. My wife and I ordered sandwiches and fries from this place and ate immediately outside on their patio area. The fries came in a bucket and as we were eating we found several fries that had dead bugs on them!!! This isn't a case of bugs landing on the fries while we're eating outside. These bugs are DEEP FRIED onto the Fries! Yuck! So unsanitary!!! We didn’t finish our meals and left in disgust. Wish we had requested our money back as it was nearly $50. ———————— Original review: Food was very tasty however a major irritation is their inaccurate menu schedule: PepperJacks is actually closed on weekends (they have a limited bar menu with an adjacent bar next door). This is not communicated in any way on Google Maps, Apple Maps or even their own website. We confirmed with the bartender that PepperJacks is closed weekends normally (so this wasn’t a holiday exception or anything). Please do a better job at setting expectations-it’s the 21st century and having an accurate online presence takes little effort. Even just stating ‘limited menu on weekends: here’s what we have’ would be amazingly considerate.

Awful choice for a working lunch. Far too many orders for the speed food comes out. Waited 30 minutes to not get food. At least advise folks the wait time or post the order status. I’ll Stick to the original location in scaggsville.
