My sister and I agreed to take our dad here for Father's Day and it did not disappoint! Big thanks to the owner, Greg, who made us feel so welcomed and at home. He had a lot of useful suggestions like the deviled eggs, halibut and delicious pizza. I was really impressed with the wine selection, and thoroughly enjoyed the Montagna Cabernet. Overall, a unique and intimate dining experience. Would certainly recommend coming here to anyone searching for delicious food, wines, and a relaxing evening. Thanks Again Greg!

Great intimate place, great food and super people who run it...Greg & Chris. Always a wonderful time when my wife & I decide to have a relaxing meal & good wine. They make you feel so welcomed(especially w/the old movies & oldies piped in by Greg). Wine selection is by far one of the finest in the Valley.

The food is great there, the owner, Greg, came over to our table and made sure everything was perfect. You must try the mushroom pizza, it is made in a brick oven and is AMAZING. Not easy to find, look for the IHOP and park. Glad Tarzana has a lovely new restaurant. It is dimly lit and has some nice music playing - great atmosphere. Very European feel to it.

Looking forward to another fabulous dinner at Peasant Wine Bistro tonight. We went there for the first time to celebrate our anniversary. The ambience is wondeerful and the owners, Greg and Chris, are so warm and welcoming. My mouth starts watering as I think back to the delicious meal. We started with the ahi stack and the deviled eggs. Loved the short ribs and finished off with the chocolate souffle. Sharing the restaurant with my brother and sister in law tonight!!!

Top fave in the valley! I was so happy to walk in and have our old waiter from bleecker street greet us at the table! We went here for my mom's birthday and had a fantastic dinner. I'm so happy we finally got here. I was so pleased that I wanted to go back right away. Our table had the deviled eggs and charcuterie board for starters. My mom got their burger, I had the salmon, and my boyfriend had the special of filet with peppercorn sauce. The burger and salmon were excellent! My boyfriend wasn't fond of the sauce on his dish but I could have told him he wouldn't have liked it. So, I can't say anything was actually wrong with the dish. My only 1 star missing goes to the tight fit between the bar and the tables. I know I'm not a skinny mini but I had to really squeeze to get through. My mom, on the other hand, is tiny and she also had to squeeze. I have a friend who has a hard time walking and has a cane and while I recommended this restaurant to him and his wife I also had to recommend that they reserve a table near the door so he wouldn't have to deal with that. Otherwise everything was fantastic - decor, food, and staff!

Unbelievable food. Very different menu then the typical restaurants in the neighborhood. Owners are very nice people and the environment is really cool. Definitely recommend trying and the wine and beer selection is great.

Peasant Wine Bistro is as unique and as amazing as its Chief Peasant, Greg Woodbury. The intricate fusion of Peasant's sumptuous menu with an equally decadent choice of wines, coupled with Greg's zest and Sommelier like prowess is an experience worth relishing by any wine or food aficionado. The cozy ambience, the highly efficient and cordial staff, the in-house French Chef and of course, one cannot miss the great smile and equally great bar tending of Co-Owner Christine, which altogether makes the dining experience at Peasant Wine Bistro simply an unforgettable one. Some say they are the number one Wine Place in the Valley. I say, they're not just number one. They're the ONLY one. Come see for yourself.

This place is absolutely fantastic! Very quaint with great ambiance. Food is amazing as well. Perfect for a first date or dinner with your loved ones. Absolutely loved it!
