Patticakes is one of those places I did not expect to be drawn back to again and again when I saw it from outside the first time. But, their coffee has got me hooked. And as you can expect they have fantastic cupcakes, and other desserts too. Try out the scones, they are the not too sweet buttery goodness kind! They have outdoor seating which faces the plaza outside and is perfect if you plan to spend some time reading or working.

Great scones and coffee. The quiche was wonderful. Earlier the music was a bit loud for my studies but they eventually turned it down. The location is really convenient. Don't know how lunch fares. Stop by!

Great location downtown, things are always happening at both didley plaza, where Patticakes is located. From farmer's markets to drum circles, not including the concerts. So there is plenty to watch as you sit at your table and enjoy a coffee in a mug and a fresh cupcake. Little hot for coffee? They also have cold beer! Vegan options too! Deffinitly stop by and check them out!

Every time I come in I try a different drink and I've never been disappointed. I enjoy interacting with the staff and I am happy to recommend that everyone try this place out.

First time customer, very pleasant experience with staff. I had a cafe con leche and everything bagel while seated inside, very quiet and comfy setting. I also tried the cupcakes, the black tie was a hit with my daughter...she loves chocolate and I loved the red velvet very moist. Will come again. Would recommend.

Patticakes never fails to impress. The cupcakes are decadent, the Cuban espresso drinks are so yummy, and if you’re looking for a quick bite you can’t go wrong with a bacon quiche! Everything on the menu is delicious, but my favorite thing about Patticakes is the community. The staff are exceptionally friendly and there’s no better place to take in all Bo Diddley Plaza has to offer than a seat by the bar (and if you ask nicely, they’ll help you open those spectacular garage-windows!) The owner, Jan Patterson, is committed to treating everyone that walks through the doors with a latte of love ❤️

Trying to provide an objective feedback here. Let's start with the positive: The location is great and the decor is industrial chic - very inviting right at the Bo Didley Plaza where the farmer market takes place. The staff I interacted with were very friendly and pleasant, they informed us about the original location and gave us samples for the pastry. The negative: The latte tasted of very bitter/over roasted espresso. The milk consistency was great but the espresso in it was just horrendous. I mentioned this to the staff and they apologized for it. I sincerely hope they talk to their roaster or switch the roaster. I will try them again in some time and will happily change the rating to a higher star (or two) if they fix it. I hate to give bad reviews but I hope this makes the owner realize the poor quality of the coffee served and we all can enjoy this great looking new addition to the town.

I have now had their cupcakes twice. I kid you not, probably the best cupcakes I have had in my entire life. They are very moist and the icing and cake work together like nothing else. Worth a visit, but don't leave without a dozen or so.
