I had coffee and pastry this morning. Was thankful able to sit down and enjoy the treats in this Covid world. The place was clean and gr8 location. The coffee was good but the pastry was stale and cold. I did ask the server whether it was fresh and she said yes- that was little disappointing.

Well if you want delicious pastry you came to the right place to grab something and go this is what this place is it's not a sit down pastry shop although you can grab a box of miniature pastries or sliced cheesecake yummy yummy you can imagine the rest parking is a little tough better if you go with somebody so they can sit in the car and you can run in and run right out

How perfect this cake was for my daughters birthday. She lost her mind when she saw it. Delicious as it was beautiful.

Coffee was great but the reason I went there, as in the word pasticceria, was for the baked goods, after lunch. What a let down. My cherry strudel had no, that's zero, cherries in it! Who wants to eat, much less pay good money for, just baked phyllo dough? No one...

Whoever thought of these recipes literally needs to go back to the drawing board. I ordered an apple tart that I later heated up and it smelled like a wet dog, was very flavorless and couldn't finish it. I also got a carrot cake and all it tasted like was the unsweetened cream cheese frosting. Go to Martha's down the street, ALWAYS worth the wait.

Why did I give them one star? Is it because the food was lousy? I wouldn't know! My pastry was ruined when the cheap lid flew off the cheap cup they put the coffee in as I was putting it away, and flooded the box AND my entire refrigerator AND the kitchen floor with coffee. It took me THIRTY MINUTES to clean up that mess from every shelf, every bin, all the vegetables, all the bottles on the door shelves, under the glass of the vegetable bin, pull out the refrigerator to clean where it splashed underneath, AND throw away the cat's food which I just put down.... I am so disgusted. When I examined this complete rag of a cup, the top has no grip on the rim, you could literally blow it off with your breath, and the lip of the cup is swollen with coffee as if it's been sitting upside down in it all day. And I know I didn't do that, because I carried it home fully upright in a tray. The pastry might be perfectly delicious but I'll never buy there again. If they're too cheap to buy cups that can survive a 4 block walk home, lord knows what other corners they're cutting.

Just not worth the calories. The rum baba was mushy and wet (not pleasantly soaked) and the pistachio mousse was so dry and rubbery it couldn't possibly qualify as a mousse. Very disappointing.

Coffee so good, it’s surprise me, because in Forest Hills good coffee is problem fine
