Consider myself a foodie. Have traveled all over the country and tried the best food listed in areas. Moved to Elkins Park and heard glowing reviews from neighbors. My husband and I give it a try. By far the best food I had in years. I ordered Salmon which was cooked to perfection. My husband ordered ribeye and it melted in our mouths. The vegetables were completely finished on both our plates because they could of been their own entree they were so well thought out and executed. This is rock star food. The service and atmosphere was above great. Menu is small but speaks to the energy they focus in each dish. This is a must go to place!!!

Classy, elegant! Fresh ingredients!!!! Best food ever!!! Super friendly staff and very understanding especially when we come with our toddler. They also have live music some nights. If you haven't been this is a must

My daughter and I just had a great meal here. The romaine salad was bright and fresh. We also had the watermelon salad with chevre and mint and balsamic...wonderful. We had the cheese plate, which was lovely. Followed by the saffron poached shrimp. This dish was a little sweeter than savory and chilled. It was really nice. Our waiter was a gem. Do not miss the ginger doughnuts if they are offered. We had a great time. So glad this spot is local!

Creative, interesting, decadent food and fantastic service. Lovely setting. I've been there twice on trips to Philly and look forward to going back in a few weeks. Great handling of food allergies (gluten-free options).

Disappointing. The service was extremely slow and the portion sizes minuscule. It started with them being out of my first 2 appetizer choices. So I ordered a bowl of soup. I got the bowl but there was only a cup of soup in it. My salmon was tasty but only 4 baby potatoes and 3 pieces of vegetable? And how much thought does it take to put 4 of the wafer pancakes on an appetizer plate serving a party of 4? It certainly wasn't the cost, the pancakes were the size of a quarter. The French press coffee maker had a broken handle on the push rod so the pointy handle dug into your hand. The rest room door was off of the hinges and had to be lifted and pulled into place to lock it. I suspect some customers would have trouble with that. Once inside, there is a box on the wall with the door open and live electrical breakers exposed to patrons! What a potentially shocking conclusion to a meal.

Nice local BYOB. Food was wonderful. The lamb pastry was flaky and flavorful. A perfect comfort treat for cold fall weather. A great app, but at $9 for one pastry, a little pricey. We also ordered the hummus app, which was a little dry and lacked flavor. The short rib was delicious and tender, as was the special braised lamb shoulder. The short rib was plated atop a creamy mashed polenta and roasted root vegetables. The lamb was plated atop creamy feta mashed potatoes and roasted root vegetables. Portions were perfect and filling. We chose the pot de creme with mint cream for dessert. Did not taste mint, but it was really yummy regardless. Service was good. Our server was knowledgeable and attentive without being overbearing. It's definitely a nice local spot for a date night or to get together with friends.

Interesting, fresh, delicious food. Lovely warm atmosphere. We are so happy to have Park Plates in our neighborhood. Also great venue for a small private party...

Really nice staff, excellent food and a byo! It's certainly the best place we've been to in the Jenkintown area (Park Plates is about 1 mile from Jenkintown). Will definitely be returning.
