We stopped in for lunch on Saturday, April the 22nd. and had a great meal, everyone was pleased. We were in Louisiana for a HOG Rally and decided to have lunch in Natchitoches. We had a group of 15 riders and stopped at Papa's because they had tables for all of us. The staff was friendly and handled the rush in business very well. I had the Chicken Sandwich, it was recommended by the Waitress. The Sandwich was great, the chicken breast was seasoned and cooked perfectly! I also had their thick hand cut French Fries, they too were great. We had a great time and everyone was pleased with their meal. I would definitely like to return and try another dish some day.

Highly recommended to me by locals as the only place to go for a one of a kind meat pie. It was delicious!! However, I don't have the heart to tell Louisiana that a meat pie is just an empanada. Lol

Went last June and everything was amazing, my date and I went last night and there weren't but two other people eating and it was just a little past 8 so why they'd hurry the food out in an ill-prepared state is beyond me. Especially the salad. Chalky and salty dressing. Tenders and fries seemed less than fully cooked. Waitress was great, though

Burger was way over cooked. Also everyone in the restaurant had over cooked burgers, table next to us had her burger comped, she ate half of it. Was told they would discount the price, of ours WOW a whole 10% off, a military discount. Also charged 1.99 for pepper jack cheese, charged an extra 3.00 for a wrap instead of bread. Told the manager we would give them a second chance, but not after getting the bill. If you are going to charge extra for items it should be on the menu or explained by the waitress.

Rebecca is an great manager. She is hard working and friendly personality. I ate my delicious meal. And the servers are wonderful. I will definitely be back.

We went in to dine in and the new owners have kept the name but doesn't provide the same service . After we had been seated for awhile they informed us the staff was going to have a meeting and will be awhile before we can be served. What kind of business does this when you have seated customers waiting to be served and have to wait for the kitchen crew to have a meeting. Shouldn't that be done before you open the doors 🤔 😕 and not make customers wait

We decided to drive an hour for my dinner birthday. Our favorite restaurant was closed (on a Tuesday), so we decided to try this place. It was a huge mistake. First we ordered the Cajun queso. The queso was refrigerator cold and had no flavor at all...and there was supposed to be Tasso in it but if it was there you couldn't see or taste it. The homemade chips tasted like I can only assume cardboard would taste. The creole pasta with crawfish was as bland as anything I've ever eaten. And then I have a real question...how do you not have any flavor in a side that is full of bacon, garlic, and onions??? The hamburger steaks were over cooked. The server was nice, but don't expect refills unless you can flag her down. We didn't eat much, paid, and went to have a better meal somewhere else.

Where do I start? I have been visiting Natchitoches for the last 10 days. I have eaten out 2 meals a day. Tonight I ate at Papa's. It was a disappointing dining experience. It has been the worse restaurant I have visited in this town. I am not a picky eater but this was terrible. First, the menu online is incorrect. That was a disappointment since I had decided what I wanted before walking in. Our appetizer was Cajun Queso Dip. The homemade chips were burnt. My entree was a Ribeye PoBoy. The sandwich had more shredded lettuce and tomato than meat. The meat was gross and flavorless. It had so much grizzle that I spit most of it out. I left half on the sandwich and picked at the other half. My husband ordered the Breakfast Burger. The meat was overcooked, verged on burnt, not fresh but a frozen meat patty. The egg was overcooked. Normally the eggs are over easy so the juice blends in with the burger. The onion rings were frozen. I doubt seriously they cook anything fresh. It's probably all frozen and they throw it on the grill and warm it up. I can't imagine what their 38.00 steaks would be like. The only good thing about tonight's dining was our waitress. She was very attentive and polite.
