Came here for lunch while picking up my father in law. We waited a long time for the food but it was very busy in there.. my wife got a soup and salad and so did her dad. I got a ham and cheese, It was Ok but they give u a knife to cut it yourself lol. The sandwhich was Ok strong mustard flavor. My wife's steak sandwich was good. I loved the horse radish sauce. BTW it was my first time eating panera.

UPDATE 3: again busy time. only 2 kiosks (but five kiosk stations). one kiosk is always flaky. and a line of people at counter. i called corporate in past to provide feedback. i also repeatedly mentioned to staff on several occasions. c'mon Panera you can do better. spend some money for better customer satisfaction and service. Show us you care. UPDATE2: apparently, they fixed one kiosk. now they are UP to TWO kiosk out of five kiosk stations. Still not enough during busy times. And the person that supposed to be at the counter is often not there. Invest in a few additional kiosks and make sure somebody covers the counter. Seems they still have no idea about responsive customer service and are content with driving customers away. Kiosks are frequently missing or inoperable - a situation that is recurring over weeks. As you can see from pictures, the middle Kiosk is missing, the first kiosk is unresponsive, and the third for me all the way to payment screen to tell me something went wrong. Invest some money, fix the Kiosks, you are driving customers away! I’ll change this review once I see improvements to your self service which is currently frustrating and abysmal.

The place was filthy. Didn’t have any silverware, only had plastic. All the tables were dirty had to ask for cloth to wipe table down which the girl handed my daughter so she could clean the table. The dishes were stacked by the garbage. There was spilt food all over counters. The one staff person said it was busy. I’m sorry it was not busy, most of the tables were empty.

I like Panera but the one thing I’d change back is the cups back in the speed checkout. I am a VIP sip club member and I usually do my runs for a drink in a hurry. Now since the drinks are behind counters, you have to ask for them or wait for them to be put out as a regular order, and that could take a while just for a simple cup.

My husband went in the drive-thru and ordered a pick two and an extra cup of soup. Got to the window to pay, the staff never came up to the window though. They looked at him a few times and he tried to get their attention so he could pay, but they were avoiding coming to the window for some reason. 2 of the 6 workers gestured at him as he waited but never approached the window. He wasn’t in a rush so we sat there for fifteen minutes waiting to see if they would come up so we could get our food and pay, but all they did was stare at us and avoid the window, so we left without our food. Strange but whatever.

I have given this Panera so many chances because it used to be good. It has been steadily declining in quality. The chicken quality is always questionable: chewy, discolored, etc Instead of the Baja bowl and get a mixture of the Greek bowl and Baja bowl ingredients. The latest issue that caused me to even write this review is I received frozen chicken with my ceaser salad. I am done giving them my business until they get their act together.

I love the new sandwich that is the caprese one. The broccoli Cheddar soup also excellent. But unfortunately the bagels were horrible and tasteless. Establishment was extremely clean and service was excellent.

I was visiting Poconos and decided to try panera. I usually eat in nyc but I have visited many different locations and all have been great options. I usually get Mediterranean veggies sandwich or margaritas pizza without sauce.
