This is hands down the nastiest Panera I have ever visited! Literally had to clean our own table because every four top was filthy. This location needs new management.

Interior was modern and staff were friendly, but the drinks had a weird taste to them, and the counters were sticky. Overall, fine.

They close at 3:00. We went in at about 2:45 and the staff seemed kind of upset that we wanted to order. They told us they were out of what we wanted, but found some and made us a skimpy sandwich (that we didn't see until we got home). More people came in after us, too. So sorry to inconvenience them, so we took it to go instead of eating there. Everyone there seemed unhappy. Food was good, though. But if you really want to eat there, check the operating hours and get there early.

I visit Panera Bread often during travels from Charlotte to Texas, Kentucky, Missouri, Tennessee, Michigan and all the stayes in between. This location on Hilton Head island is just off the main thoroughfare on the northeast side of the island and only 2 miles from the resort where we stayed. I ordered the broccoli cheddar soup with a deli turkey sandwich, customized with additional chesses and a variation of other items like frizzled onions, spinach and mayo and horseradish. The quality of the food lwas quite good and lived up to expectations. This location is smaller than the average size of a Panera Bread restaurant, so keep that in mind when planning to dine at the restaurant. I visited at 2:00 pm during a rainy day and there was an open table or two. I usually do take out these days, a lingering habit from the recent pandemic, and the take- out shelf is near the entrance on the right side of the restaurant. All in all a good experience.

Always get your order right plus everything is freshly made.

The food was really good and the cashier was nice and he was friendly. The building does look a bit worn and in need of updating . In a good location and close to everything on Hilton Head Island .

This place is crooked. They charged $18 for a half sandwich with pepperoni on it and a CUP of soup. I understand prices have gone up but this is plain gouging

Place was dirty. Bathroom was closed. Didn't have drive thru open either. People at register didn't seem to know what they were doing. Only plus was people making food were fast and friendly.
