This place is awesome. The signature dishes on the menu are really tasty and you can't go wrong with your choice. I had the bandito burger and it was really well made and very tasty. Mac and cheese is straight amazing. The owner usually hangs out and talks to the customers. He's really nice and makes you feel welcome. He's happy that you are at his place and he takes care of you. If I wasn't afraid of having a heart attack, I would eat here everyday.

We had the outlaw burger and wild salmon burger which was fantastic, but just a tad overdone. It was still DELICIOUS!! This place has possibly the BEST Mac n cheese I ever had! Had a good kick to it! Nothing like I've ever tasted! The owner, Erik is very sincere and welcoming! He even sat down with us and made us feel at home. Staff is awesome too!

My girlfriend brought home leftovers from Outlaws and the leftovers were so good I had to make my way out to Van Nuys last week to try it fresh with her. Without a doubt, one of the best burritos I've ever had, some of the best service I've ever seen, and incredible value for everything. I believe Erik was the owner and, despite being busy, he made plenty of time with each customer to talk about the food, the restaurant -- very welcoming. Definitely worth the trip out that way.

One of the best burgers in LA, no doubt! Great burgers, excellent chips, and attentive staff. The owner is really nice and makes the rounds to make sure you are satisfied and having a good time. The brownies are a must. I've never had any like them before.

This place is a true gem. When the owner found out we had never been there he told us the tale of how Outlaws came to be, and how his vision was to create a Mom and Pop restaurant with ingredients so carefully selected that no additional condiments would be necessary. Here's the thing: I eat ketchup on everything. I'm entirely addicted. When the owner asked me to forego ketchup I started to get nervous because I had never enjoyed a burger without it. I decided to take a bite without ketchup and was stunned. This is the BEST burger I had ever had and I didn't need ketchup! Everything he had said about hand selecting his ingredients and only working with top tier vendors is true. At the end of our experience we were exchanging hugs (the owner is seriously that personable and treats you like an old friend), and when he found out we hadn't had dessert he ushered us back in for a complimentary brownie. If you're looking for a place that offers phenomenal food and top-notch customer service with a true Mom and Pop feel, look no further. This restaurant deserves all the stars in the world!

It's somewhat of a small place and the decor was nothing special, but if you're looking an outstanding burger at a fair price, and great service to boot, then get over there right away. I had the Bandito burger cooked medium rare. The 1/2 lb burger was stuffed with blue cheese, grilled onions, grilled garlic, grilled mushrooms and pieces of jalapeno bacon. It comes with lettuce, tomatoes, bacon and pepper jack cheese and it was close to perfect. It was just juicy enough to drip some, but not so much that the pretzel bread bun couldn't hold it all together. It was great - this is truly a destination burger joint! I upgraded to the mixed (spicy, garlic, salt, pepper) steak fries. They were very large cuts, but they were wonderfully crispy on the outside while being perfectly textured on the inside. The servers were friendly, attentive and very efficient and the meal came out quickly. Couldn't ask for anything more. I'll definitely try to come back next time I come to LA.

A top notch burger at a good price. Sides are also delicious - thick cut fries or chips. You can't go wrong with either. Service is probably the friendliest I have encountered at any business. They're more than just burgers, but didn't even bother to try any thing else on subsequent visits. The burgers we're so good I could not bring myself to order something else.

GREAT food!! My only issue is how anal they are about ordering well-done, substitutions, or leaving an ingredient out... this bothers me, but doesn't affect me because I absolutely love their food as it is. I can't pinpoint one item I'd recommend, as it is all really good, or at least sounds good. The Hawaiian Burger is one of a kind. So that, try that! Prices are fair for what you're getting.
