Breakfast Menu "Ono Steaks and Shrimp Shack" Waimanalo

Excellent Shrimp & Steak Shack. Nice and bright and very fun experience. We stopped by mid week and it wasn’t too busy. Friendly service and good menu selection. Ice tea on tap - both sweet and unsweetened, both delicious. The Coconut Shrimp we sensational- everyone raves about them, and they’re not wrong! The Fish Tacos were also amazing- fresh grilled fish with mango - beautiful combination. We’d definitely come back and have the tacos and shrimp again - really good. And it’s good value too. Highly recommended!

When coming to the island, the best foods are at local owned and local favorites. It doesn't have the "glitz" of the restaurants in Waikiki - but you know what they have? Passion for their food, which you can taste in the FLAVOR of the dishes. I look forward to seeing this place continue to grow.

This is my favorite place to eat on Oahu for lunch. Period. These are also, consequently, the very best fish tacos on the island and they are CONSISTENTLY good y’all. I’ve tried a lot on the menu (wow coconut shrimp ♥️), but I have to say my go to is this: fresh fish tacos with garlic fries. You can see from the video what it looks like, but let me also paint a picture. This is gosh caught THAT VERY DAY in the water just down the road. They cook this perfectly every single time and top it with pineapple coleslaw made in the restaurant WITH mango papaya salsa and some mystery creamy sauce that I could lick out of my container. This medley of flavors goes together to make the most perfect fish taco. Only caveat is this: if you like your fish tacos fried, this isn’t fried- but that’s how I like them. The fries? The fries y’all… freshly fried with just tons of minced garlic on top. Do not knock this until you try it. Do not sleep on this place, it is worth a drive even if you are across the island. It’s my absolute favorite and it’ll be yours too!

This restaurant was literally a 2 min drive from Sandy Beach. Such a gem tucked off to the side. Definitely make this a stop before or after your beach trip. The food was amazing.

One of the best finds driving up to the North Shore. If you like garlicky food, get the garlic ahi and garlic shrimp. So fresh!! Fresh ahi taco is also very good! AND instead of having to choose between a potato salad or macaroni salad, they just give you both!!?? Yessss!! This place is a gem!

We were exploring the island, heading to North Shore for the shrimp trucks when my 3 year old said she was hungry, so I googled the best places to eat in the area and found Ono Steaks and Shrimp Shack. We got the Ono for the kids to share, hubby got Ahi and I got the 12 pieces of garlic shrimp. My girls really loved their fish but they both loved my garlic shrimp even better. The could not get enough hehe. I was so happy to see them enjoying something new. My baby absolutely went crazy over the Mac salad with potatoes in it. She wanted us to find all the potatoes for her. This place is a hidden gem. There are outside seating and the bathrooms are outside as well. Highly recommend.

Local food is always good. This place is easy to get thru, have lots of parking & sitting area. Food taste so good come out hot and we bring to eat near the beach. Price is reasonable. Must come!

Ahi fish tacos with mango were as good as everyone said they are! Great amount of food for $11! 2 tacos and Mac salad or fries. The mango salsa on top was soo good. They did cook the ahi well done, I usually like mine more raw or seared. But still so good and the value is great. Small spot with indoor and outdoor options great to hit in bathing suits after the beach. We would return! Side note: 3.5% charge for credit/debit card which they indicate before paying.
