Update: March 6, 2023 - it's permanently closed, apparently. Shelves empty & inside furniture gone, apparently being remodeled & cleaned out by landlord. Sad to see them go, long established local place with good prices & made it thru COVID days, stayed open for takeouts - walk-ins, and busy with deliveries. Newly discovered, friendly & easy place for breakfast, basic sandwiches and comfort Asian/Korea food/bento box or combo at a good price, generous portion to go or eat-in to as permitted. Been back a few times & easy on street meter parking.

I’m such a big fan of Omani, I want to share the gospel with everyone but I also want it to remain a hidden gem so the lines here don’t get too crazy 😅. This is probably the coolest deli in the area, offering authentic Korean-inspired foods that would be great for lunch or dinner as well as the typical deli fare you would grab for breakfast. The sweet & spicy chicken sandwich on a roll was so delicious, and my lunch party had high praise for the spicy pork sandwich, beef bulgogi over rice, and andong-jjimak chicken. The guy who works there was also really nice and our food was prepared very quickly during lunch time. My only complaint is that it’s kinda pricy for the size of the sandwich ($10 for 6 in), but given that they probably had to raise prices due to inflation, I’m still more than happy to come back and support a local business. Highly recommend!

Interesting place. High foodie quotient as a hole in the wall kind of place with eclectic decor and currently popular fusion cuisine. The place was lined with shelves of books to give it a more cozy vibe. But the high ratings are definitely not for the decor and it's not an impress-your-date kind of place (unless of course you're both hipster foodies). Tried a few things. Seasoned chicken bento - nice sauce and good fried rice but otherwise ok. The grilled chicken sandwich - ok but not particularly special. However, the bulgogi quesadilla was really good. And that made me realize that was probably more in this place's wheelhouse. The meat coupled with the cheese on a crispy wrap had a satisfyingly salty crunch. I think it's supposed to be self serve but it was slow that day and somehow we got table service. The employees were very friendly and if I were in the area I would probably go and explore some more of their options.

Happily surprised. Combination of American type deli setup and sandwiches with Korean inspired flavoring. Everything was very tasty, can be a little salty at times. Definitely coming back to try some more sandwiches. I also appreciate that their menu is simple and focused! Sweet and spicy chicken was good, wife had spicy jeyuk which was good too!

Despite the posted hours, I tried to visit this Saturday at around 12:30pm and the restaurant was closed with no posted notice. Hopefully this is temporary and I will be able to return and update my rating.

Cute and homely establishment. The prices are pretty decent since you can get filling meals for just under 10 bucks. The place seemed to be a mom and pop restaurant serving Korean and American fusion with ramen as a choice as well. I had the tofu sandwich, jeyuk sandwich, and bulgogi sandwich. The tofu was deep fried, crunchy and not to overwhelming nor oily. The lettuce gave it a lighter taste to the teriyaki sauce. While the fleshy tomato had a nice contrast to the firm tofu. I recommend the sandwiches but eat under a plate, the food can get messy and the items in the sandwich falls out easily.

Rating 5 stars because the joint was great but I think they're closed for good. No sign in window though, strange.I checked before New Year's and I thought they closed for holiday but the lights still aren't on three weeks later. Boxes everywhere inside. Such a shame. The guy was real nice.

Simple mom and pop shop with delicious food. Enjoyed my Chicken Ramen with Eggs.
