Jae was wonderful. Food great , best in a while. Only thing is if you order a appetizer tell server please make food after. Ours were under heating lamps a little long
Clean. Food is great. Both rounds of Breadsticks were crunchy instead of fluffy. It was also very hot inside the restaurant which I'm sure some enjoy but that is why I gave 4 stars instead of 5.
Tremendously disappointed. Our server was Leandra. When she came to our table, I asked if it was possible to have Happy Birthday sung to my daughter. She said “Absolutely,” she said, and said shed receive a free dessert. At the end of the meal. She presented the check and said I could pay at the kiosk. Completely forgot. The restaurant was not busy, but she certainly made us feel rushed. As an aside, the Shrimp Scampi was very dry.
Always have a good visit to this Olive Garden , the staff here are very good. The only thing we did not like was the new cannoli product they had. Flavorless and tasted like they were frozen and thawed. Our meals were good.decor is typical of most Olive Gardens which is homey. Follow up 9/26/23 Just had dinner in house, Joyce was our server at the Toms River Olive Garden location on Hooper Road. Joyce was a true professional as our server, she was spot with service, and importantly follow up on how we enjoyed our meal. She forgot NOTHING that we asked for and we asked for a lot for two people. We are for extra sauce, add on protein to our all you could eat pasta. We also told her at the beginning that we planned to take home half our meal, we ordered the $6.00 extra pasta of choice with extra sauce and meatballs and lately a piece of the seasonal pumpkin cheesecake. Joyce was FANTASTIC, she brought the to go containers, remembered the extra sauce, and when we were done she brought a bag with everything we asked for. It has been my experience that few servers remember half of what you say and you normally have to remind them or you go home with nothing that resembles what you asked for but you settle for it anyway. Hey Olive Garden, Joyce is a top notch server for you, she's a keeper. Please pass this along for a job well done. Thanks Joyce for making our visit a super one. 🤗❤️
I went to the restaurant on November 16 2023, i ordered a chicken alfredo but it was HORRIBLE it tasted like trash. however the service OH MY GOD THE SERVICE . My Food runner was mike, he was amazing the amount of cheese he gave me was awesome. i would never go there again unless if mikey was working there. The food was trash my server Leandra was so mean.
I believe you don't really know a business until you see how they handle a problem, and this Olive Garden handles them exactly how a business should! I ordered online on Mother's Day, and somehow I got a confirmation email, but found out when I got to the restaurant that my order never made it to their system somehow. Everyone I dealt with was wonderful, but the first girl who came to help was so sweet and continued to try to figure out what happened when they were so busy and she could have easily forgotten about me. I wish I could remember her name- I'm so sorry! She brought 3 other people over along the way to figure out what happened, and everyone was so kind and helpful. Ultimately, the manager, Dina, came to my car and said she was going to take my order and have it made immediately, which she did. She said dessert was on them. When I got my food, I asked if the payment went through because I didn't expect my food to be free, but she ended up comping our whole order, which she didn't have to do! I made sure to give them a cash tip since they were all so great and obviously they didn't get the tip from the online order. We came to the conclusion that there was likely a glitch because they lost power at one point. Dina and her staff handled this situation so professionally, which to me says everything about a business. Any business can be great when things are running smoothly, but it's the trials that tell you how they really operate! Things happen- that's life! All that said, I highly recommend this Olive Garden. Great food, great service, and great people- you won't be disappointed!
The usual here. Salad is great & love the breadsticks. We ordered meals and drinks too, which were good and took 1/2 home because nice portion size. The only disappointment this time was the drink was really overpriced & very little alcohol, more like fruit juice, so we won’t be doing that again. Just stick to glass of wine.
My husband and I frequent Olive Garden and he loves the spaghetti with meat sauce and my go to is usually the shrimp scampi, both are delicious with great flavor and never disappoint. Our server (forgot her name) was throughly attentive and made sure we were well taken care of. The Green Apple Moscato Sangria was very tasty as well. Do not hesitate get your next meal from them.
