I've been here plenty times in college. Especially when they had their endless wings deal. It was a great spot and still is for the young crowd. The only downside I would say is that it gets too loud, too quickly. Just know what you're getting into when you go there. Nevertheless, great place to watch football!
Amazing food - some of the best bar food in Rockland county. I'd specifically recommend the buffalo chicken sandwich, the cure burger and the Cajun fries. Wide selection of drinks, not too shabby on their prices either. I've only ever been during off-peak times so I can't comment on the 'bar atmosphere' - it looks like a bar inside, but it was never packed while I've been there. Staff is alright, they seat and serve promptly. Definitely would recommend this place!
This is an interesting place. They have great nachos, but the food overall is a real hit or miss. Texas toast burger sounds good until you realize the toast part isn't really that toasted. But when your more concerned with swatting bar flies so you don't get extra protein it ruins the overall feel. The taco salad was bland, the Italian chicken hero was salty. Service isn't bad, but the flies are everywhere and no matter what that's a deal breaker.
Great low key place to hang out after a long day at work. Atmosphere mostly consists of regulars and locals enjoying great food, sports and eclectic music. If your looking to go when it's more live I suggest Friday and Saturday evenings. Staff is friendly, they offer great deals on Groupon, drinks are definitely worth their price, and the food is super yummy!!! =)
i work in the restaurant business, this place was recommended to me by a very well known chef friend of mine. i was extremely disappointed with the service, one bartender by the name of John was rude, and disrespectful. the vibe is great, although i did see underage kids every one seem to be having a good time. reading back on others comments i must agree on that they are a bit racist and pushy towards new people. hopefully the issues are addressed with the staff and next time i go its all better.
9 Went on a Friday night, to check the place with a friend, The was a 5 dollars cover but this include a shot so it was not bad. This is one of the best bar I have been in NY, the music is great they have dj live, playing music and video all night long. The DJ encouraging atmosphere, and congratulating the birthday girl's-boy and the one that were getting married that The staff are very quickly and they do a great job had a great time so many people over there I will come back with all my friends. I did not taste food so i can't talk about it. But I will come back here with my entire friend.
Went then to watch the games and eat. Really enjoyed the atmosphere. The bartender Tony was exceptional as he went out of his way to make a Bloody Mary with only some of ingredients. It end up being really good. WE will be back.
I have been to this place a couple times and I have never been crazy about it but this last visit was just HORRIBLE. The food is pretty good, IF IT COMES ON TIME. The waitress seemed to be very busy and rarely checked up on us to refresh our drinks. The manager apologized for the food and blamed it on the Internet but I see in other reviews that is has always been an issue. We visited for Sunday brunch with a Groupon, my husband ordered steak & eggs and got a burger so we sent it back. 10 minutes later. They bring a very cold / red steak to the table that they clearly threw together very very quickly. The eggs looked messy and were not cooked how we asked. The waitress was nice but was very confused. She kept going to the manager (who never showed his face until we were leaving) and the poor girl just went back and forth a million times with our questions. Another waitress in the restaurant is extremely RUDE. She was the one who helped sit us at our table. We actually heard her talking about us in a very unprofessional way to her coworkers because we requested to sit near our friends who also had a Groupon (since you can only use 1 Groupon per table, even if you split the check - which is a whole 'nother issue). We couldn't sit near our friends, even though they had plenty of empty tables next to each other all around the restaurant. They even said some tables had reservations but those tables either stayed empty the whole time we were there or random people just walked in and sat down so clearly they just didn't want to accomodate our Groupons. I know that the profit isn't huge on those deals but it's their choice to have them. There are too many great restaurants in Nyack and even with the Groupon I will never be back to this establishment again.
