The food is exceptional! The service not so much. We were seated right away and had a pretty decent view of the ocean from our indoor seats. Took a bit for our server to come take our drink order and even longer to take our food order. But when it came to dessert; everything was super timely. We also ordered hot coffee with our dessert which came out cold 🥲. But they fixed it right away. Would 100% recommend the xurros and the cream puff dessert.

I recently dined at Nobu, and I must say the vibes were absolutely amazing! The restaurant's ambiance was top-notch, creating a stylish and trendy atmosphere that made the dining experience quite enjoyable. However, when it came to the food, I found it to be just alright. While the presentation was impeccable and there were some standout dishes, others left me wanting more in terms of flavor and creativity. Overall, Nobu is a great spot for a special night out, but the food might not completely live up to the high expectations set by its ambiance.

If you’re a big eater, I’d advise to eat an hour prior as their portions aren’t big. All the portions are small but extremely delicious. The view is amazing too. Can’t beat it. The drinks & food are top notch. The service was great. I was able to get a table the day prior because of a cancellation. I was lucky. Otherwise you must book 3+ weeks out. Also, valet parking is your best option unless you get very very lucky with street parking. Not many options near by. Be prepared to spend $100-$200 per person.

We tried different dishes, but in the end, I still felt that A5 were the best. I strongly recommend A5, and other dishes are also nice, new Japanese cuisine!Nice experience!

Yes, it’s super bougee. You’ll be spending $100 minimum and you won’t be full. It’s also a famous restaurant with friendly and attentive service. You’ll probably see some Instagram celebrity dining inside, and maybe some rapper or NBA player dining outside. Yet it’s still worth it, because the food is that good. If you’re in a group, simply tell your server how much per person you want to spend and they will make their own menu for you within your established price limit. Some items will even be off the menu but super delicious. Would totally come back, but only once in a while. Gotta eat instant noodles a few more months to afford another meal here.

Was soo excited about coming here, let me start off by saying the restaurant is beautiful, right on pacific coast, the sound of the waves can be heard rt off the deck. Try to come for sunset it’s really spectacular! We had reservations but you can also get walk in fairly quickly depending on time and day you go. Unfortunately we didn’t get patio seats but the indoor dining was still very nice. Now on to the food. Was heavily disappointed, we did the Omakase dinner which is $195 per person, a chef curated menu and you are served the exact same dishes for each person each course, that was a little boring imo especially for that price. I would not recommend going that route. Order off the menu for yourself even though it may be daunting. Other dishes being served around us looked so appealing and appetizing You’ll probably come out cheaper ordering straight from the menu and can taste many different dishes and share amongst your table etc. Hard to say if I’ll be back

Nobu in Malibu is a world-renowned restaurant that offers an exceptional dining experience from start to finish. The location is stunning, with a beautiful ocean view that sets the tone for an elegant and memorable evening. The menu features a variety of Japanese-inspired dishes, with a focus on fresh seafood and innovative flavor combinations. The sushi is exceptional, with each piece carefully crafted and bursting with flavor. The cocktails and wine selection are also outstanding, with a variety of options to complement any dish. The service is impeccable, with attentive and friendly staff who go above and beyond to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable experience. The atmosphere is sophisticated and upscale, with a chic and modern design that adds to the overall ambiance. Overall, Nobu in Malibu is a must-visit for anyone looking for a high-end dining experience that is sure to impress.

Overpriced, slow friendly service, small portions. But trendy and great atmosphere…my friend ordered a grilled chicken and claimed for it several times (45mn wait). I also ordered a chocolate fondant which I cancelled after waiting 30mn….
