The staff here is friendly, efficient and welcoming. They make you want to go back. The food is exceptional. Just like home. The atmosphere is positive and very clean. Five stars because they excel in every way. I don’t live near the diner but when I’m in the area a few times a year I make sure to stop in for a meal. I actually look forward to it and I’m not a big eater. I highly recommend the New Britain Diner.

I randomly came here with my family for a quick bite to eat. It was okay. I ordered boneless chicken, French fries and a side of bacon. Our server was really nice.

Our server was amazing, the atmosphere was nice and cozy and our food was delicious πŸ˜‹ This is the place for a nice breakfast πŸ₯žπŸ³πŸ˜‹πŸ€

So very disappointed in the food and service. The chicken and orzo soup was cold and over seasoned. Twice I had to ask for water. The meatloaf with mushroom gravy was old and like mush. There was a strange aftertaste with each bite. The server, eating her lunch at the next table finally noticed I had finished eating and came over. I asked when my (half eaten) meatloaf was made as it looked dried out and tasted funny. She said "when I put the order in". That's not possible. She asked if I wanted to take the rest to go. I told her no, that I was afraid I would be getting sick. Unfazed, she said ok and gave me the check without any comment. Another member of staff did hear the conversation and asked if the waitress did anything about that on my check but she did nothing. I put down my $22 and walked out.

So...... Needed a place to eat and my lovely girlfriend suggested this place. Well obviously she has good taste (πŸ˜‰ dating me) and we went to New Britain Diner, well fantastic! Friendly waitresses and very efficient kitchen, so the food was really fantastic. Homemade soup, potato pancakes and Mac and Cheese was awesome !!!!!

Zal is the hottest, sweetest guy there. Very attentive without being overbearing. Great on the eyes.

I came here on a Sunday afternoon and was not impressed. I got the strawberry crepe and the strawberries were a frozen mushy mess, and made me nauseous. I’m sure the other food is decent, because my mothers meal tasted good. Monique was our server and was very friendly.

I enjoyed the vibrant and scenery very much. The staff was very fast and efficient when taking orders and checking on customers. Not too many places like this exist anymore. I would recommend the pancakes and omelets. If your looking for a place to clear your mind and have good food or bring your family or friends. This is the place.
