This has been the first place since I moved to Maine where I loves the sushi. My parents are really big fans of sushi and were up for a visit and the couple places we've tried were mediocre at best. Nara is in a league of their own. The sushi is amazing and the prices are extremely reasonable. As you can see in the pictures attached, they make many different styles of rolls that are all equally tasty. My parents now make a point to come to visit to get sushi from here. I highly recommend checking this place out. We always order it to go so I can only imagine it is even better when it is fresh in the restaurant

Sushi was fresh and delicious, miso was savory with just a hint of spice, and the price was right! The service was excellent and exceeded expectations. Lots of unique touches in decor and outside, but definitely low key. I'd gladly eat here again!

The food was delicious, no complaints there. The waitress seemed like she had better things to do than to wait on us, even though the place was near empty. I asked three times for some wasabi and got everything EXCEPT WASABI. The hottest thing I got was a spicy sauce about the same heat as Buffalo sauce.

The restaurant has a very strange smell to it. The decor was depressing. There were 4 other people, all at the same table and it took someone almost 5 minutes to greet us. Waitress gave us menus and just walked away, didn't ask about drinks. The water tasted like chlorine. Miso soup was okay but it's pretty hard to mess that up. The philly roll was a bit warm and the tamago was horrible. The waitress checked on us once the whole time. Definitely won't be coming back.

If I could have given less than one star I would have! This is the worst food I’ve had in a long time! Everything is super overpriced for it’s extremely disappointing quality. The crab rangoons were flat and oily, with a really funky, overly fishy taste. The pad tai was gross- had this kind of spoiled, seafood taste- I ended up throwing it out after a few bites. Veggie tempura was oily, wilted and consisted of only half a dozen sad pieces- hardly worth the 13 bucks. Soo disappointing and so gross. Glad I didn’t order any sushi- I can only imagine what that would have been like. First time ordering from here and we’ll never order again!

We went to Nara last night 7/8/2016 for the first time since they moved to their new location. It was even better than I remembered. We've eaten suchi all over town and our family considers Nara by far the best. Try the OMG roll! Try the Korean pancakes! I am not sure where the other bad reviews on this site came from. Perhaps the reviewers went to Nara right after they moved?? I notice some people complained about the service. It is true that the help doesn't hover over you, but our food was timely even though the restaurant was crowded.

Hibachi Chef and food was fantastic. The chef should have been able to have more fun and do the tricks he wanted. Like previous post this would of been rated 5 star if resturant wasn't so strict. Good experience.

Everything was extremely subpar. The Ginger dressing for the salad was sour. The crab rangoon were thin, oily, and overly fried, and after eating the Spicy Scallop roll i had to wonder if i was gonna end up sick.Me and my girlfriend were very disappointed. Wont order again
