It’s starts with Klea the lady at the counter. Warm greeting and a smile. Great spinach pie, Lamb with rice and green beans was very good. Fresh pita made in house. Clean and lots of free parking!

My wife and I had lunch there today. It had been years since I’d been there so we thought we’d try them again today. My wife got the chicken souvlaki with salad, and I had a gyro with salad. Both of our salads were fine, and the dressing was flavorful. But the chicken in my wife’s Souvlaki was inedible. It was so dry, with not much flavor, you just couldn’t even eat it. I didn’t believe her so tried and took a little bite, and she was correct. I wanted to spit it out. There were too many people around to go mention it to them, and my wife isn’t the type that would do so in general. My gyro was ok, but the meat was very salty. It needed all the sauce and other stuff in the Gyro to make it taste less salty. Another issue, the eating area is small, and many people would be waiting for orders and were hovering over us. It was an uncomfortable feeling. Based on this experience, we will be in no hurry to go back. There are better Greek options just down the road with more edible food.

Loved the Gyro bowl. We stopped by the highway to fill gas and found this place right opposite to the gas station. Checking the reviews, we thought to try it out. Glad we did. It's a small outlet with indoor dining as well as patio sitting options. We were in a hurry so we opted for takeout. They have lot of options. I personally wanted to taste lamb but it was mixed with beef. So had to try Chicken Gyro bowl. They prepare the dish in an edible bowl which looked awesome. It was a perfect blend of chicken, salad and rice. The content is perfect for a single person and is within budget. Would definitely recommend if you are nearby.

I agree with other reviewers who have mentioned the change in ownership affecting the quality and service received at this location. I've seen some reviewers mention a woman named 'Klea' at the counter but if it's the same person who assisted my husband and myself a couple of weeks ago, then I'm very surprised that they said she gave pleasant service. This woman who assisted us along with the gentlemen working the meat station were all Spanish, presumably replacements for the previous Greek staff members who prepared the Greek food. The woman at the counter was very rude and seemed bothered by us placing an order when she was apparently about to eat some food of her own. The quality of the food has suffered as well and is lacking that distinct, authentic Greek flavor that made this a go to spot years ago. If anyone knows where the original owner/cooks took their talents, please chime in.

I ordered the chicken pita wrap, w/ a side Greek salad. The chicken pita came w/ a plethora of chicken and was extremely delicious. I like to always say, I rather be satisfied after finishing a meal, rather than full, and I was completely satisfied. Moreover, I ended my meal w/ what I believe was a homemade baklava, wow! Also, they have a great special for around $10 where you can get a gyro, a side, and a Mythos beer. With that being said, I definitely recommend coming to this establishment if you are in the vicinity. All in all, Mr. Gyro's offers a great authentic Greek cuisine coupled w/ a side of warm hospitality. 5 out of 5. Cheers!

DELICIOUS! I have been coming to Mr. Gyros for years and they always get it right! This is the spot for the most delicious gyro ever! I would highly recommend! You won’t regret it!

This place used to be really good before it switched ownership a few years back. Now it’s owned by people not even remotely Greek. The food quality has declined. The baklava is purchased from a local food wholesaler. The gyro I just had was nothing like I used to get. There are better options around town.

very expensive gyros in an old atmosphere place. nothing impressive here. found the food to be average quality, not worth spending $10 for a sandwich. would also be nicer if staff dressed more professionally.
