Ate here twice on my trip! The food is delicious and it’s a small hole in the wall restaurant downtown old Colorado city that is truly authentic. The country biscuit is wonderful, and the bbq burger is also delicious!!! Would highly recommend and will be coming here again next time I’m in the area.
Incredible breakfasts. Amazing prices. I haven't seen prices this normal at a breakfast place in years (...I'm looking at you First Watch and Snooze). Service was very friendly. Not much space inside the little house, but we had plenty of room to enjoy our meal once we got seated. It was also nice to not have to deal w/ the 'new' parking meters of Old Colorado City. It is only two blocks from the shopping district, so you can walk off your meal from there, if you like. We will definitely be back!
The portions are very generous, especially for the price. The food itself is a top notch dinner experience, from the slightly weak coffee to the gravy style green chile.
What a great little find!! As featured on Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives, this local diner is cozy, with phenomenal service, and best of all great food!! Don't even look anywhere else!!
The food (Breakfast) was good, hot and well prepared. service was okay, not great-not horrible. The place is dirty, has a regulars vibe. I would go back.
Great atmosphere!! Huge portions, best bang for you buck. Party of 6 came about 10 a.m on a Sunday and was immediately sat. Service was quick and friendly. I tried the giant cinnamon roll, I'm not a sweet fan. The cinnamon roll is huge, 6 of us all snacked on it and still did not finish it. The homemade salsa was truly homemade. Mountain Shadows is a must try if you are in Colorado Springs
Amazing breakfast and lunch restaurant. Ordered the Huevos Rancheros and the green chili was amazing. They have inside and outdoor seating. Outside patio was an amazing spot to enjoy brunch and soak in some sun. Service and staff were wonderful!
Great breakfast spot. The cinnamon bun was obviously the best!!! Wow 🤩 Better to get there early because it does get busy quick. Cool atmosphere, little plaques all over the place with quotes. Dinner feel to it for sure.
