This restaurant is in the center of Reston, the staff is friendly (they speak several languages) they are friendly and polite. The dishes have a nice presentation, but the flavor was not what I expected, it did not have any extraordinary flavor. It was my first here and I really wouldn’t come back. 👎🏻🤔

The best escargot I've ever had and fantastic cocktails. Their baguettes are impressive. The steak and fries were excellent. Couldn't be happier. I've visited France multiple times and I find this place to be top notch. I would definitely come back.

It’s one of my favorite restaurants in the area. Brunch is nice. Dinner is cute. I recommend to everyone. Restaurant like this is never gonna run out business. Solid French cuisine. Every classic French dish is so good I felt they delivered from France after you ordered it. Ohh soo good. That baguette is so good we have to order another one to go. It’s THAT GOOD

My husband and I are chefs and while the taste and temperature of food is very important, presentation is equally as important. The goat cheese dip, while good, looked horrible with the burnt edges around the dish (and they forgot to remind us that it was hot as they placed it down). The Steak tasted fair, not cooked to our liking and the presentation on the plate was sloppy. We requested extra bread as the initial bread that came with our dip had become hard, .. and they charged us for the bread! The service was slow (though the place was NOT busy at the time). We spent a lot of money for a nice night out on the town and was quite disappointed in our experience.

Sat in the patio to order dinner to go. Got a $55 NY strip steak frites, their macaroni gratin and a flourless chocolate cake. The steak was ordered rare, from the pictures below you can clearly see it was closer to well done. Wasn’t even a quality piece of meat, incredibly tough, genuinely such a waste of money on something I thought would be amazing based on the reviews. The macaroni gratin was greasy, flavorless, hard to swallow. Even the cake’s texture was off, with a half rotten strawberry served with it. Everything was so unpalatable and disappointing, only positive was the server who was polite and did an amazing job, but even the service could not save this atrocious food I brought home. Would not recommend to anyone.

I found this place while walking around the downtown area. I sat at the bar and had multiple people helping me. I had the Steak and Frites with Béarnaise sauce, along with a glass of red wine. My bill was $50. I ordered my steak medium-rare, but it was so thin that there was no way it was coming out less than well-done. The frites were standard fries. They honestly reminded me of less crispy McDonalds fries. The wine was good, but I don't see any reason to go back.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Mon Ami Gabi, a French restaurant located in Reston. It was a brunch date with my wife, and I must say, the experience was delightful from start to finish. Mon Ami Gabi not only offers a charming ambiance that transports you to a Parisian bistro but also delivers exceptional cuisine and innovative drink options. Let's begin with the food. Don't skip on French onion soup! The steak frites we ordered were simply outstanding. The steak was cooked to perfection, tender, and bursting with flavor. The accompanying fries were crispy and accompanied by a delectable sauce that enhanced the overall dish. Equally impressive was the roast salmon served in a pea and asparagus puree. The salmon was impeccably cooked, moist, and flaky, while the puree added a delightful freshness to the dish. It's safe to say that both dishes left us thoroughly satisfied. When it comes to the drink selection, Mon Ami Gabi truly excels. For those who enjoy alcoholic beverages, the French martini and French 75 are highly recommended. These drinks take classic recipes and add an innovative twist, resulting in a delightful and refreshing experience. The French martini, with its blend of vodka, raspberry liqueur, and pineapple juice, was both sweet and tangy, while the French 75, made with gin, lemon juice, sugar, and topped with champagne, offered a sophisticated and bubbly sensation.

Very nice setting and very welcoming staff. Good large portions, ideal for sharing. The sad thing is that there are things on Google Map images that were posted by customers that aren't there anymore. Looks like the winter menus has just been replaced by the summer menu.
