Ordered for delivery. The steak tips were so charred. There was no "medium well" option o the website so I ordered "medium". But the chat was just bad. The rest of the food was great, but maybe clean the grill so we don't have to deal with the chat which tastes so bitter. I love steak. Steak totally burnt on the outside is no good. Still eating it now and trying to make sense of the char. Just being honest. I think they need to either clean the grill or hire a new chef. Hard to eat.

Nice spacious restaurant in downtown newburyport. Came here for a birthday dinner, and the manager seemed to welcome us into the restaurant, and wish my wife a happy birthday as well. That unfortunately did not extend to our waitress, who did not introduce herself. The food was good and probably saved the experience. We got the filet mignon and the chicken Madeira. The wine selection was ok - but smaller than what would be expected for a steak house. The cocktails were good though and very diverse in terms of flavours. The price is a bit higher than what is normal for newburyport but it's also trying to have a higher end feel. Overall, thankful for the experience but not much to be very excited about.

We have always wanted to try this restaurant and on a whim we decided to make a reservation on a Saturday night. When we got there we saw a long line at the door and we noticed there was also a wedding upstairs. I was fearing the venue would be very loud. We were 15 minutes early for our table but told they were informed that the tables were backed up. A high top opened up and we were offered that which was precisely at the time our reservation was at so we took it as we could see that people were lingering and it might be some time before we got a table. The server Daniel was THE BEST. He did confirm the wedding upstairs and that they were really busy because of it but he was very attentive. The starters came promptly and they were delicious. I had the Butternut Bisque which had a lot of flavor and a little bite at the end. The service was slow for the main meal but he was so attentive always checking in and apologizing. The entrees were absolutely delicious. I got a vegetarian dish of fried rice with egg and veggies and they were able to add the sesame crusted tofu from another selection as a protein. The atmosphere was loud but it had a homey tavern type of vibe, it actually was much different than what I expected inside but great nonetheless.

We had a terrible experience. Service was slow. My food (chicken Madeira) was returned because the chicken tasted rubbery like it was frozen and not cooked thoroughly. We were grateful they did not charge us for that meal. Then my husband got severely sick that night with vomiting and diarrhea from the mussels he ordered we are pretty sure. There were some mussels that were not open which is never a good sign. We do not recommend this restaurant.

We went for an anniversary dinner. The Cocktails were good, as were the calamari, lobster Rangoon, and meatball appetizers . The service was slow since the restaurant was chock full. I ordered the Chicken parm, the sauce was nothing close to homemade and the chicken patty was just strange. It wasn’t tough, but it was very compressed and rubbery in texture to the point were I just couldn’t eat it. I would recommend this restaurant but order something other than the chicken parm. The other diners meals were fine.

The Farm to Table entree with sesame crusted tofu, roasted veggies, and sushi rice was a fantastic vegan meal. It was perfectly cooked & seasoned. I also enjoyed cutting the larger roasted vegetables with steak knives, because everyone else at a steak house is doing a similar activity

Really tasty food. Ordered mac and cheese with grilled shrimp, shrimp was a little to charred for my liking and a bit salty, but the mac and cheese was absolutely amazing. The noodle perfectly holds melted cheese, it’s pretty great. My mother had one of their specials, “airline chicken”, I had leftovers of it later. It was salty and the chicken a bit tough, unfortunately the brussels sprouts were really charred and got bitter because of this. Amazing atmosphere in the restaurant, waiter was a delight as well. She seemed to be managing a lot of tables, good on her for working hard, hope she isn’t overwhelmed though. Overall, excellent dinner!
