The Zingers salad and the French onion soup are my favorite here. The atmosphere is great! If you want to watch a sports event you should get here earlier, this place is always busy. The service is good but sometimes it’s slow, +30mins wait for your food. They have several options for drinks, different beers, happy hour, cocktails, etc.
Good bar food, great service. Lots of drink options. I ordered the bacon cheeseburger with fries and was not disappointed. However my friend ordered the chicken nachos and they were ok, and the calamari was a bit bland. Overall satisfied with our cravings.
Had wings and their chicken nachos. The wings were really good. Nachos was kinda plain. Decent prices. UPDATE: Went and everything we ordered was disappointing. Deep fried chips with garlic parm were disgusting. Chips tasted burnt and all the sauce was on top so chips were really strong on top but plain on the bottom. For dinner we order the sirloin and shrimp special for $14.99. I don't expect that much for the price but it was the worst piece of meat I've ever had, wasn't cooked the way I ordered and the breaded shrimp was 90% breading. So after eating here twice, I won't be coming back. Way too many other places to eat at.
Felicia was amazing! I live in the Orlando and have been to ale house many times & I think she was the best server I’ve had yet. Very attentive and helpful with the menu. She helped me decide on a meal and it turned out so amazing I can’t wait to order again.
I had the Osso Buco and it was perfect. It may look like a human heart, but it tasted great and melted in your mouth. The key lime pie was a very generous portion.
Great times and great food at the Ale House, as always. Had never visited this location before but ate in for lunch one day and then dinner the next on a recent trip to the area and both times it was great. Servers Jonathan and Hunter were outstanding, food was good as always and very homey, sports-y atmosphere. Ordered Zingers, wings, soup and salad for the lunch, it all was fantastic. Had prime rib and wings for dinner, some folks thought their prime rib was too tough and overcooked, but mine was great, I just ordered it one doneness lower than I want it and it came out perfect. Love the assortment of wing sauces as well and that the wings come out crispy. (Where else can you get a prime rib dinner for less than $20.00?)
On Sundays, be prepared to have your eardrums blown out by commercials... waiter said there are no volume adjustments on game day. The menu has shrunk, just a result of the times. The burgers are no longer sirloin, but prime beef is an option. The hamburgers were medium just as we requested. They have added a short brunch menu, but are reluctant to make changes, such as leaving off a sauce. He was "able to do that" for our daughter. She enjoyed the bacon, egg & chicken sandwich so much she wanted to order it next time, she said. Sweet tea is VERY sweet, but they will get you a half & half which I enjoyed very much.
My friend and I stopped after an afternoon of traipsing around Myakka River State Park. The food was delicious and the cocktails were too. I had the Pork Osso Buco and my friend had the Zingers Mac and Cheese and we had old fashioned Melon Balls for cocktails 😍
