True coffee lovers alert! This place has an excellent array of quality coffee and food. Their sandwich “the untitled” allured me with their name but I was happily surprised with a chicken avocado sandwich on focaccia bread. Their honey vanilla latte was excellent. This would be a great place for a casual date or to read a book and people watch. The staff was very friendly and had great service.
Stopped at this beautiful gem of a place dropping off my daughter at church camp. The staff are the absolute sweetest and their coffee and frittata were delicious!! 😍 The vibe/decor is super cute too - allows for studying or small group gatherings.
Very nice store design and atmosphere. Food and coffee are good. Prices are fine.
I really like this place. Good dirty-chai, iced or hot. Has some personality.
Super neat, cozy atmosphere. Very freindly. Great coffee
Visiting Searcy from Conway and decided to stop for a pick-me-up. I've been to various coffee shops throughout NWA and Central AR, and this place has the smoothest coffee I've tasted, even for a dark roast! I'm not a huge coffee drinker because the taste is usually overwhelming, but this brew had a sweet light note without the burnt aftertaste of a bad roast. The chai is good, too. No matcha & no soy milk. Maybe soon! Good job to Midnight Oil 🖤
Breakfast this morning was too good not to share about. A couple of friends were talking about making coffee the other night. I inserted that I know nothing about coffee, because it is too bitter for me. All I know is that I enjoy a caramel macchiato from Starbucks is the furthest in the coffee realm I’ve ever gone. Then I learned about light roast. Alex, a guy at my church who also works at @kibomidnightoil (MO), was talking about different things and combinations offered at MO and offered to help me find something I might like. So, this morning I woke up, headed over to pay him a visit and experience something new. He suggested a Mr. Blonde or Black Bear, but as I was reading the menu waiting on him I found the Woodsman (black walnut, maple, cinnamon, and [I think] macadamia something...). It looked interesting, and then Alex told me it was his favorite. Barista’s choice! So I took it! It’s a very nice blend of flavors. Paired it with a Woodsman waffle for a different breakfast than normal, and it is absolutely delicious! ———————— I did not visit MO as a student often, but now that I’m back will be trying new drinks and returning on a more regular basis.
Cheap coffee, decent quality, can't complain. I ordered a tea with honey (I forgot which one) but it was loaded with melatonin cause I almost passed out but it was delicious and only 2 bucks after tax. My date had a bottomless cup of black coffee and she was satisfied saying, "it was a decent cup." I recommend this if you're looking for something cheap like waffle house but with the service, atmosphere, and product quality of something along the lines of a "small town Starbucks" if you will. Great place, check it out 👍
